J-O. Waldner vs. Timo Boll - Athens 2004 Olympic Games (Waldner's points)
zhlédnutí 2,5MPřed 14 lety
Best points of the master Waldner. Second set, 2:10 J-O. loses 10-5 vs. Boll, 3:17 master makes the end point of the set win it 13-11, demonstrating why is the best of all time.
Same stroke as Ma Long
The Bruce Lee of Table Tennis. No opponent can unsheath his true power in facing this man. No unnecessary movements. Just pure control and direct attacks. 🔥💪 If prime J.O. will play with today's generation, he will surely placed at the top.
Waldner = Ma Long
JO Waldner? No I don’t want to do that.
So good at seeing the gaps as they opened.
Waldner made a bunch of great shots.
Waldner actually “plays” table tennis. Compared to him everyone else looks like they are just hitting
The man is a legend and one of my heroes.
Only man which all chinese players always feared. When he is in the zone, the chinese knew no one could stop him! One of the all time greats!
Wow. Klassiker
It's quite ludicrous (not to mention entirely unsportsmanlike) to only show one player's points. Shame on you.
J-O Waldner, The Mozart and The Ever Green Tree
Legend 🇸🇪
Waldner was 39. Boll was 23
And this year, 19 years later, Timo played a new generation of Swedish table tennis players in the final of the European Championship. Both are legends.
Why do they show *only* the points that Waldner wins??
The title says "(Waldner's points)", that's a hint😊
@@bennylloyd-willner9667 Oops, I missed that. 🤦🏻♂ Thx
John McEnroe Jan Owe Waldner
Evrth Luque
Waldner makes Boll look like an amateur here. But from what I can see its alot at play here. Most obvious is that Boll seems very nervous and lacks the cool. He plays very defensive and tries to play "safe" so Waldner can keep on attacking him. Waldner plays close to the table while as Boll quickly back to defensive position where he has to run alot. Making him being all out of breath by the end of this slaughter.
pingis sounds so sissy
Legends!
I have a serve 🏓 that nobody can return? 😁
Este video me lo mostró mi primer profesor de tenis de mesa allá por el 2012 hoy 10 años después lo sigo mirando y disfrutando de la misma manera
Único..m
Boll
What a legend.
Timo plays like some amater.
These two have such defining playing styles that I could recognize them without seeing their faces. In fact, I could do it just by looking at their legs. Waldner doesn't have much of a foot work other than stomping on the floor. And TBoll likes to do a Sumo squat just before receiving a serve. 😂

will always be the GOAT in my eyes
Нравится Вальднер за сильный топспин
Waldner is the GOAT.
For his time, yes. I wonder how he'd fare nowadays (at his prime) against a MaLong or Xu Xin at their prime.
Waldner is a non Chinese 🏓 Legend
Only points of Waldner shown here? Is this a joke?
Einfach der Beste
*UN...GLAUBLICH*
Babyface Boll had no chance to The Master from Sweden!
How could Timo Boll lose that 1-4 ? 1-4 !
Waldner was in His prime
@@arnehammarlind4420 no. He was in his prime in 1996 but not in 2004
@@Luca33600 Actually Waldner was more afraid of Karakasevic than Boll.Boll's all spin zero speed game doesn't work against him. A half decent Waldner beats Boll 9 out of 10 times.Even Rosskopf was more of a challenge for him. To beat Waldner you need solid defence and great power.Boll had neither of those.
A fine match Indeed Sad Mr boll did not win a Wm But so it goes Dr T
Ridiculous to only include Walden’s points
100年に1人の天才というのは決して過大評価ではない。
TT legenda!
5:28 is my favorite point.
In 2003 I was a dealer in a casino. One night shift the Chinese men’s team were playing Baccarat. I remember asking them about Waldner’s chances in the upcoming Olympics and their reply: “too old”
Dois lordes jogando.

Как всегда ошибок Валднера не показали почему-то...
Boll looks like a moron waiting for waldners serve.
What a fabulous player.
” Timo boll ” lol in Swedish boll is ball 🏓
Waldner proves that the Chinese are beatable.
