Yo, is it just me or i always lose on sinai because its impossible, like there is no cover at all, on some maps you can hide in someway by running away from the point and sniping but sinai has only one spot where you can do that, and its really far across the desert where is no cover, so only way you get there is by spawning in ligtht speedy tank and rush it, and you still arent unkillable meaning if you die then bye bye to that spot cuz you will die trying to get there when there is so many tanks shooting at you.

Outright cheat mechanics for the AI: laser accurate shooting even while they are driving at speed on broken ground. "100mm" of armor that cant be penned at touching distance by a 150mm pen gun. Snap shooting inatantly on spawn. The devs are just too lazy to bother coding in good AI so they give it cheats as a crutch.

The problem with assault ground arcade (in my opinion) is the AI, when your taking cover the there could be like 7 or 8 fucking tanks aimed at you and shoots at you all at once

Aight so lemme break this down: 0:11 Since you cut it where you did, I'm not 100% sure, but I think that hit you in the turret ring, which is ~150mm of armour from memory. The panther's APHE has ~220mm of pen, so yeah it can of course pen you there. Even if it hit you in the front plate, the panther's gun can actually do that to the jumbo at certain angles, though it's not suuuuper consistent. 1:00 The reason why that didn't hit where you were aiming is because your view is through the gunner sight instead of the barrel. I know this because you can see the barrel on the left when you're in the gunner view. What this means is that the shot will actually be offset to the left of where you are aiming. This is called parallax. Your view is in the gunner sight for one of two reasons - either the custom battle was set to the "Simulator" gamemode, which forces the view in gunner sight (for historical accuracy I guess). Or you have the setting which does that even in RB turned on. 1:27 Basically you shot on the very low on the sponson, and it hit the plate which is actually the bottom of the sponson. Since the plate there is going sideways (the same orientation as the roof/floor of the tank), it's actually like hella thick compared to the side armour. Of course in reality, at least the top half of the shell would have split off and been able to penetrate the side of the sponson, but gaijin doesn't model stuff like that. So it's half their fault and half your fault for aiming there in the first place, if you had aimed just a little higher or lower, it would have penetrated (try not to aim for the edges of plates if you can help it). 2:45 yeah I have no idea why that killed them lmao. 3:18 you shot too low and missed the LFP (lower front plate) so it hit the ground, then ricocheted up, hitting the track and part of the floor of the tank. Look at it frame-by-frame, and also look at the damage preview at the top right of the screen. 4:02 Yeah so basically the AI is hella stupid and it was trying to shoot the t90, but you were in the way and it hit you instead. Hope that all makes sense, and yes I know I have way too much free time (I have 3000 hours in war thunder unfortunately)

This tank is really good when you are in close range and you know where to shoot. I usually aim for bulbous cupulas and that will usually kill or critically damage a tiger H1 or an IS. I was able to get a kill streak of like 6 once
