On this channel, I react and review classic rock songs.
I grew up watching Soul Train, Solid Gold, and listening to Pop, and R and B. I've always wanted to get more familiar with Classic Rock, and Rock on a whole. I just never got around to it. But I have a variety of friends, many of them Classic Rock fans. So it's never left me, the interest and the desire to get more acquainted with it. So finally, this channel is my way of getting familiar.
I'm going to organize my reactions in groups with common themes. For example, Vietnam and Anti War songs. Then, The British Invasion era, social and political songs, and so on. I'll do spotlights and feature specific artists. Maybe a super set of their best work. I'll do random reactions, especially from one hit wonders. Bottom line is, I'm going to feature Classic Rock songs that made an impact on our culture. Hope you'll join me as I seek, explore and discover. See you in a reaction sometime. Peace

The whole album: moving waves is imo the best album ever. Such great musicians !
My favorite version of Fleetwood Mac.
Thank goodness we have these films of them to show their greatness. They were and will forever be the greatest band ever.
Jason killing it. A chip off the old block! ❤
I love LZ and especially this song live. When my friends and I were young, we were often bored in our hometown and we seemed to end up doing the same old thing. But every summer the midnigĥt movie would come and we would say to ourselves, let's go see jimmy page and LZ in their prime dazzle us. Then on the following night we would say let's go again because not all of the song's were on the record that were in the movie. Like Since I've Been Loving You and Black Dog. But watching Dazed and confused was outstanding.
Musta been awesome!
Love you Rory, beautiful musician
オリジナルも聞いてZEPのベーシスト ジョンジーのシンセ音も聞いてほしいね! ボンゾのドラムスもお忘れなく それが LED ZEPPELIN だからね
Eagles never missed & whatever their differences were, you never saw it in their performances. I love your channel, loved your reaction, especially the history! RIP Randy ❤
Glad you enjoyed it
I love the song and your analysis of it!
They don’t have any bad songs…..
1976, 12 years old and my older brother had the 4th album. Snuck it from his bedroom and listened to it in my bedroom. That was the start for me, and wasn’t even smoking weed yet. My favorite Zep tune is Ten Years Gone! Resonates with my life…
Thanks for understanding the Stones Music. You get the feel , you know what’s going on musically and just plain get it. And as far as your comment on not doing so much on the Stones . You coulda fooled me…
"Jessica" - The epitome of what Southern Rock is all about imo. RIP Dickey.
The Supremes & Vanilla Fudge versions are perfect displays of the glory of Feminine & Masculine energy. Love them both
THANKS FOR COMMENTING, TRY LISTENING TO SONGS LIKE CRY FOR THE BADMAN NEEDLE AND THE SPOON TO NAME A FEW
Loved Rory Gallagher & Bo Carter, l cried and couldn't sit still. Thank you 😍
Thañks, bro..
LOVE YOUR STYLE MAN
Thank you Jerry. This format allowed me to really absorb everything. Peace : )
Rory also turned down offer from mick jagger to join the stones
It's s freaking banger bro!
This is Howlin' Wolf's ELECTRIFIED "Killing Floor"! "The Lemon Song" is a prime example of what the Brits (and others) did to the classic Black blues when the genre left the US and landed in Europe, particularly England. And the new, high-powered genre returned to the US starting in the 1960s and continuing through the next decade ... much to the delight of youngsters across the nation. In the hands of master musicians like these 4 men, the music was identifiable yet the beat was so altered, runs added, speeds fluctuating, etc. it seemed wholly new, especially to young ears eager to leave Top 40 waaaay behind.
Revisiting this years later to reintroduce self to VDGG, thanks for the insight here Wayne!
Soul train bro, If your looking for something new, that is quality, Todd rungren healing album. Or Rick wakeman journy to the center of the Earth. 😂
I was there and it was the shit!
Critics were always hard on Led Zeppelin, especially Rolling Stone, they didn’t like that the band wouldn’t give them interviews.
They've sure changed their tune over the years.
Just discovered Sixto last year on the day he passed- CBC Radio did s tribute to him. I sat in my car listening and was absolutely transfixed at the strength of his songwriting. Genius. Incredible lyrics. Amazing guy, total Zen. His second album might be even better than this one- the song "Cause" might be my favorite of his. One can only imagine that if he had found initial success, he might have left a legacy of dozens of astounding albums instead of hinging it up to work in menial jobs around Detroit. RIP to a precious, brilliant star.
I think he would've been as big as Cat Stevens.
This clued up musically savy reactor hit the nail on the head when he said. Never assume or have a fixed picture of a band. i did the same thing about Led Zep. i was always aware of them and knew they were a great band but i thought people were going overboard saying they were the best band ever but after seeing since ive been loving you live at msg and hearing You Shook Me. i absolutely get it
"This drummer's amazing." He was a bit, yes.
Lynyrd Skynyrd version is THE BEST VERSION 👌 😂
Hank Williams Jr 😊
Correct me if I'm wrong. But I thought I heard that plant had composed the first 4 albums along with help from the band before he was 23 years old. Are you kidding me? Is that true, help me out brothers?
Rock me baby, live is the BEST rendition of the song: czcams.com/video/6CpGuxND8_g/video.html&start_radio=1
Thank you showing this i cant believe ive never saw iy
Really? It's in the top 5 best music docs! Plus it's in my top 11 most viewed videos. Led Zeppelin has the entire top 10, 4 years running.
Amen 😊
Never get tired of listening to Mahogany Rush Frank Marino is one of a kind guitarist songwriter vocalist influenced by Hendrix n ignored by classic rock FM radio mainly because he makes everybody else sound like nothing IMO One song that got airwave recognition was Strange Dreams his only song without a solo but that was in 82❤
Soul Train Bro....I watched this again. Your one word review is so fitting and poignant. Dude, you are one cool hombre. Quadrophenia is a masterpiece. It should be hung next to the Mona Lisa.
The very wonderful Dave Edmunds.
Been with you from the beginning.
Rolling Stone critics were idiots and they show their total ignorance for the greatest music from the greatest band. Who were these people?..
So true. I can't share what I really feel about Rolling Stone though. Some people get really mad at me. So I'll just say that I agree with you. Peace
Follow your soul…….it knows. I knew from the time I was 13 that I wanted to be a Paramedic. I was 22 before I reached that goal. It took a lot of work and some help from the Lord but I finally had my chance and in my interview I told the big boss that if I was hired I promise I will never be a problem employee and I never was. I have some very rewarding memories and some others that have caused me much PTSD. I am now retired after 32 years. But would not change it for love or money !!!!!!
I was an AM DJ back in the day and Percy came to our station to do an interview. Back then that’s how u got a record moving !!!!!!!!!
Oh no as soon as we heard LZ in the 70s we knew that they were the greatest. There were so many excellent bands around then but Zep were the greatest and still are.
Black Dog is one of my top ten songs but so are most of the other LZ songs. Some are more awesome than others but truthfully, there are no bad LZ songs.
Robert Plant's vocal range is amazing. Jimmy Page is one of the best guitar players ever. Keith Moon one of the best drummers. I saw them in 1973 live at Atlanta Statium. Listen to Ramble On, Heartbreaker and Goin to California for a varity of styles. Im so grsteful that I sawxthem in concert
You are an excellent person and personality for reaction videos!! Specially for Led Zeppelin!! It’s a pleasure to watch. God Bless brother.
The song I've known for years. Your words after it were absolutely on point 🙏👍
It’s really sad to see David Lee Roth sounding like this. 😢😢😢
Just came across this. Thank you, sir.
It's a shame you reacted like you did. Remember this was real music played by real musicians, not noise made with sound effect machines ! If you could've gone to his concert you might feel differently ! Just sayin.
Huge fan of your reactions, i have a complimentary reaction, the 21, with T2, Beatles, old man and Doors, if it´s possible i would like very much of see it again, saddly it was removed, i would gladdly pay the patreon to see that reaction again. Thanks a lot.
