As we drove around with the top down on that fabulous California evening, the radio was playing a new song just getting popular called "Summer Nights." The singer sang in a rich confident voice about the joys of being young & free, and I suddenly got a feeling that life was about to open up for me in wonderful mysterious ways. I always remembered that moment & that song.
