With great response from our Cruise videos from our other channel 'Oatmealpirates' we decided to make a channel dedicated to our cruise videos only. These videos are shot while we are on different cruises and we hope the helpful tips in these videos will help make cruise planning a bit easier. What we did in each Port, how much it cost us, how our experiences was, and rather we did a Shore Excursion or Not.

We booked this Adult Only Private Beach on the Carnival Freedom. The crazy thing is we were the only ship in Port that day. On our cruise only 10 people booked this excursion, so it was very private and exclusive. The beach was great , the unlimited drinks ( Bahama Mamas) and the Bahamian Food Buffett was amazing. This was May 19- 24 2022.

Do you recommend booking through the cruise or on your own when on the island
This island is owned by the cruise line I believe, so the only way to book this is through the cruise

Water shoes , also called aqua socks , anywhere from $9.99-$40.00 depending on which ones you get , recently I’ve been wearing Floatfers

Not sure on the exact room number , a nearby room in another video I have is 2412, we were on the 2nd floor. If standing on the beach facing the water, our room was all the way at the end of the resort on the left side. The 1 bedroom king beds side, the beach never crowed with families on that side.

Best capture ever! We always see flying fish when we're on a cruise and I've never been successful at getting them on video. This is great!

Just watched your video again... you have a caption: "Looking at Flying Fish" but I dont see anything at all... just the shadow of the ship in the water... Where were the fish??? 🤔 🐟
Cheryl Jones sorry they are hard to see with the naked eye, but around 3:38 in the video, you will start to see some on the left side of the screen, they look like. Someone is skipping rocks along the surface of the water, going away from the ship

I love a Balcony cabin myself- I do the exact same thing you did- stand outside & watch the water, waves, & look at the other cruise ships in port! 🙋 What's cool is that I see your cabin is in the very front "Forward" of the ship, so in your video, I can REALLY hear the sound of making those "waves" starting @1:30... 🌊🌊🌊 Nice!!! 😊

for the most part, the noise was not bad
no noise, that I could remember. We just were on the Breeze last week, we we in the front of the Ship on deck 7 and heard the music for the theater which was on deck 3,4, and 5

The only thing I do on a balcony is look at the white water the ship creates especially during choppy seas. I find it so cool idk why
Grand Turk is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and fun but watch out for them HUGE rocks in the water. Amber Cove DR was so much fun as well💜💜💜

We were in paradise beach last month as part of an excursion. Had a really good time except for the Mexican store owners pressuring us to buy their shit. Jesus Christ how many times did I have to say no?

I don't remember exactly, we road for about 30- 45 minutes around the island. Then we had to change horses to do a quick ride in the water.
You can't title it 'vs ocean view room' if you never show the comparison!!!
You're absolutely correct, my apologies, however I was thinking video of looking out the window was not needed for this comparison. An Oceanview Room, gives you a view of the ocean.

The cost was about $30-$45, I don't remember exactly. I don't remember the Tour Company, but we signed up at our Resort after speaking with the excursion people on property.

The number one for me was my recent trip just last week at St Thomas - Meghan bay beach. You don't have to purchase the excursion it cheaper to go by taxi and the taxi make sure you get back on time. You just have will have to rent the chair and umbrella and there is a place to have a drink and eat too. You won't get any hassle from the local, the one that goes to that beach is just cruisers. Clear blue water to the bottom, it's not rocky at all like Turks. Its considered one of the 10 best beaches in the world and its just like the pics you google. I fell in love with that beach but I will like to check out paradise beach in Cozumel and maybe in the future, God Willing the Half Moon beach.

Hi, which room # and floor were you on ? Were you facing east towards the main pool or west towards the smaller pool ? Thanks, it would help me selecting rooms.
We were on the bottom Floor, I think the smaller pools we near us because we had to walk across to the main pool with the swim up bar. Our rooms were on the opposite side of the main World restaurant.
Have not been to HMC yet but I agree with your other two with the exception that I rank GT higher than PB.

yes, its included in the price. If you want you can as for 2 or 3 plates. or a plate with lobster tail, and a steak plate too. They will bring out both.
