Honda ignition failure

2006 Honda odyssey ignition failure. One wafer wore out and the ignition wouldn’t turn. I pulled the ignition, replaced all the wafers, cleaned it, cut new key, reassembled and installed, and finally programmed in the new key.

I made this video because I could find no info on how to switch the standard cylinder on the guard to a restricted keyway. You can also rekey or masterkey the standard cylinder and this video will show how to install the cylinder. If you need to see how to take the cylinder out, play the video backwards. I hope this helps someone. They’re questions I had that I couldn’t find the answers to.

Schlage L9453-17A-626 is what is in the video. Mortise body part number L283-137. I made this video because I couldn’t find one showing how to toggle between locking/unlocking the exterior lever. I hope this helps someone.

Sentry 1250 dial safe. Manipulating it open without the combination. I’m practicing and honing my skills and if you decide to watch, thank you. This is 4 minutes of your life that you’ll never get back. I cut the videos down to 4 minutes, but in reality, this took me approximately 2.5 hours. It also happens to be the first safe that I’ve ever manipulated open.

Honda and I don’t get along, so this is a video of me practicing. Yes, I could have looked up the code on the side of the lock, but I’m practicing all aspects. Picking, decoding, and cutting a working key. Hope this helps someone trying to learn also.

Disassembly of Toyota door cylinder, sight read cuts, and cut on hpc1200. I didn’t have the correct cutter for the 1200 so the test key doesn’t work smooth. Cut second key on laser machine and works very smooth. Hpc card cf307. Required wheel cw14. Could read the cuts without taking it apart. Wanted to show how to disassemble and reassemble.
