Seen this at least a dozen times, and (with Elina Osborne) I can confidently say, the best PCT documentary film I’ve seen. I’m sure I’ll watch it a dozen more times before my attempt in 2025

I'm hoping you'll do the AT. Appalachia are among the oldest mountain formations on earth. Not to mention the PCT and CDT are very similar though very different from each other. I think nothing compares to the culture of Appalachia. Happy trails my friend. Maybe I'll see you out there some day. I'll say, a lot of these films inspire me to start my own adventure.

I've watched a lot of thru hikes from people with different backgrounds. I'd call this one "Frat boys tackle the CDT. Cinematography is top notch. Story telling is excellent. From all other CDT thru hike vids you could feel the solitude. Not so much with your video. Seems more about the "frat boys" enjoying a journey... well done!

An honest question, Is this an activity or hobby that is leaning more liberal than conservative, leaning more conservative than liberal, or both? Cause I want to get into this kind of stuff finding people who are like me. (I’m conservative)

What drone model did you hike with?? I have a DJI mini pro 3 but hauling that + the remote is a bit bulky for a thru hike

You’re an incredible storyteller and film maker. Just as good, if not better than the PCT one, which was hard to beat. I’d watch a documentary of you walking around your block. Looking forward to more of your adventures!

The art of crossing the Sierra (what a beautiful place to hike under these conditions). If the chapter of the Sierra can be titled with "Easy Livin" it becomes clear, that 2021 was a really special year for NOBO-hikers (compared with 2019 or 2023, for example). (But you had to fight with a lot of snow on the CDT instead 😎)

About a month before embarking on my own PCT journey in 22’ I watched every trail doc on CZcams in hopes of learning more and getting stoked, your documentary was at the top of my list. I’m about a month out from starting the CDT and told myself I don’t want to watch any videos before hand this time, but out of curiosity I made the search and without realizing it was your video, I felt compelled to watch. Once again moved and couldn’t be more excited for another trek. Well done pal -Trench

I just watched your PCT and now this and I love both of them! I’m curious about the 24 hour challenges though. Do you just randomly pick a section that you’re going to do in 24 hours or are there specific sections where most through hikers will do the 24 hour challenge in that section?

The nose bleed are so real on the Southern portion of the PCT.
