I think we unwittingly perform Adjustment Bureau acts for eachother all the time. I helped shovel out a guy doing donuts in the snow with his girlfriend at Red Rocks Amphitheater back in high school. Man im not saying i buy into the simulation theory. It is, however, a fun thought experiment. Laws of our reality thats say things arent possible here, but may be possible in the "real world." How our universe could be designed to keep us from progressing too fast. Maybe light has a different speed, or the strong force, weak force, or gravity work differently in the "real" world. And we can only achieve so much so fast in this place because of the rules written for us. However, if computing and reality DOES work the same way in the "real" universe, it would take an immense amount of resources to program something like this.
