Dawn chorus is yet another piano solo instrumental improvisation that has emerged from my recent "Trinity garden" session at high Dalby house in Dalby forest North Yorkshire.... Just a short little tune trying to evoke the sounds of the early morning birdsong in the forest garden....

Drama is a piano solo instrumental improvisation which was originally a piano demo for a much larger orchestral work to accompany a series of live action performances and events.... originally called Dialogue, due to the two contrasting moods in the piece, I have decided to rename it Drama as that is what it suggests to me....

Woodland meanderings is a piano solo instrumental improvisation and was recorded during a live performance session at High Dalby house... During the celebrations for the opening of the Trinity garden and so this is the first of the Triquetra session to be released.... more to come hopefully!

Lonely soul is my latest piano solo instrumental improvisation and is the first new music from the bunker in ages...!! The studio has had a functional makeover and a tidy up....(long overdue) and I have started to migrate my work onto the new MacBook Air ....using Ableton live 11 for recording smaller projects like this and hopefully Logic Pro for the big stuff..... we shall see!!

Connection is a piano solo improvisation recorded in my underground lair!.... the sentiment is I guess just the mystery of that certain connection that happens between people, and upon which all our lives are begun and become worthwhile, forging relationships which transcend our individual lives and transform us ..... giving us meaning and hope....

The long road is a piano solo instrumental improvisation evoking a seemingly endless path through desolation .... but with a glorious destination

Free spirit is a piano solo instrumental improvisation, and it's theme is freedom from worry, freedom from pressure, freedom to express your inner self .... .....What a wonderful thing it would be and what a point to aim for!!

Stolen time is a piano solo instrumental improvisation, the piece has some odd time signatures and odd meters and phrase lengths....hence the title!!

Future memory is a piano solo instrumental improvisation, recorded at home and with my new MacBook Air and my mobile keys rig..... from an idea suggested to me by a friend commenting on a photograph of me playing at a live event.....
