😢😢 tea fertilizer can disturb other beneficial microorganisms..According to the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, tea seed meal is not recommended as a treatment for Amynthas jumping worms. While some say it can kill earthworms, it can also be harmful to other organisms in the food chain, such as molluscs, fish, and beneficial earthworms. Tea seed meal is only labeled for use as a lawn fertilizer and is not legally approved for other uses. Mustard pour Mix a gallon of water with 1/3 cup of ground yellow mustard seed and pour slowly into the soil. This will drive any worms to the surface where you can easily remove them. Limit movement Limit the movement of soil, mulch, compost, and plants from one location to another. When moving and replanting, clean soil off plants and remove any visible worms. Washing plant roots in water may also help prevent the spread of worms. Generative AI is experimental.
What is the best way to dispose of cut/harvested autumn olive branches and berries to be sure they don't spread?
I watched this yesterday, and found one in my garden today hiding in some milkweed. very nice timing!
I have Tree Of Heaven or non poison Sumac. It is a fast growing tree and they are still saplings but there is a hill with them nearby that the seeds are coming from. For now I can mow them down easily but these pesky things could turn my yard into a forest. Mine has clusters of red fuzzy seeds on it and they looked different from the Tree Of Heaven you have shown so I may have a non poisonous Sumac. I know it is non poisonous because I have touched it and did not get a poison ivy like rash. I know Poison Sumac is like Poison ivy and likewise the rash is probably treated the same way.
happy pollinator week! no such thing as an ugly moth

Tree of heaven has been in my back years for over 20 years of pulling them out. My sister said put a cut and put a solution of alcohol, mint soap and salt. Just did it on a gauze.
I've been looking for this clear and complete comparison. Thank you!
im confused, he mentions the grass carp as an option and then it says to avoid it?

Outstanding. Basic, yet Very informative. With Pictures, for people like me. Lol I'll pass this on. Thank you
I might be wrong and/or this might be bad advice but, Can you maybe blurr such videos in the beginning and put a warning in the begging please? Thank you
Beautiful tree but be careful when you cut it. Always use gloves and be fully clothed. If the juices of the cuttings happen to contact scratched skin or an open wound, there is a great possibility to cause myocarditis!
Simple and marvelous explanation about these organism.. Thanks Sir
Thank you so much! I am thankful for your explanation of blending in the Certo (pectin crystals) and slowly blend in the sugar. My strawberry jam turned out great!
Great presentation. thank you.
Was told 4-H club didn’t exist anymore by Hansel at the Penn State extension campus,
This video should have been in motion. It would give the animal owner or Milker a much better idea of what it looks like when the mastitis is present.
Excellent video - Thanks!
03:30 If that tree is on the boundary, then part of it belongs to someone else. So, how can you go chopping and painting on someone elses tree?
Excellent presentation
What two species should I stock if I just want a fun small fishing pond
I've heard conflicting stories about native worms in NA. Supposedly many are native and you can find them way up north. I have doubts they could spread that far so quickly. I've heard there are also old indian words for worms that pre-date columbus. There are youtube vids about it.
Waw na waw
Thank you❤
Hi, is there any possible way to reduce Lipoptena Cervi in infested area except forest fire? I was thinking maybe some hormone traps would be efficient.
There are no area-wide control methods available for deer keds. They find hosts visually and don't respond to insect repellents so probably don't do much with scent. Controlled burning may reduce the local population, but there have been no studies that demonstrate its efficacy. Controlled burning isn't an effective long-term control for ticks (it reduces the population the first year after a burn but then the tick population rebounds to be higher than before the burn), so I'm not sure how effective it might be long-term.
I finally got blue birdsin my yard in the suburbs. Turns out they like dried meal worms in my feeder and suet. I put out 14 boxes in my yard. One has bluebirds several others have sparrows. It's a nice show every day. Great video!

I notice that weaker trees tend to have Lichens on them, and wasn't sure if it's a cause or an effect. Are they there because the tree was already weak, or is it weak because they are there? I'm speaking more about smaller branches on younger trees though, not lichens growing on old, mature tree bark.
is she italian? she must know what she's talking about :)

The voiceover is kind of a disappointment on the last one. I thought Martha was doing a fantastic job. Still a very good series for rookie jam makers. She explains the "why' instead of just giving a series of steps to follow blindly.
Basal application - triclospyr Ester with basal oil; stumps with oil-based herbicide to fresh cut stumps
Looks like 8 of the jelly series with Martha. To bad they didn't link it in the description. czcams.com/play/PL_bTWa1uOqMF-Jm-vVFfo1T0KIwc9MRHO.html&feature=shared

Interesting. The bird has no tendency to flap its wings. I'll go out and try this.

One big commercial to funnel people down a road they can’t follow
But can they devour a fully working underwater automobile and drink a whole pineapple?
Great compilation of video and photos. I love watching the Bluebirds and listening to them talk to each other. I used to have a job in a city dealing with people. Now, I am quite content working around the house and property and watching the various birds and their activities. MUCH more peaceful. 🙂
We have bluebirds in our box now we love them so much! 🥺🤍
Tip # 0 start with a very well designed pond. Most people rely on luck. Also, most ponds across the northern have of the US can become good trout habitat. The deep water is cool enough, it just lacks the water quality for cold water fish to survive. Insightful guidance can turn a warm water pond into trout habitat despite what most people think.
