This was my first ever trail race, and let me tell you, I am HOOKED! I can't wait to look back on this video in a year or two to see how much I have improved. I finished in last place for this duathlon, and I was also the last person to cross the finish line overall (the next person was about 15 seconds in front of me)! It was one of the hardest things I have done, and I really thought I was going to quit twice. But the first run was absolutely brutal! In fact, 3 people did not finish the duathlon!

This is my LAST official race before the duathlon in Massachusetts next week! I felt very good with the running, in my legs, and with breathing, but the heat was just unbearable. As long as the temps are 10 degrees or more lower than these, I have a lot of confidence in the next event!
Cycling Flatwoods Park | Morris Bridge Entrance

Today we are heading out on the bikes to complete the 7-mile loop (8 miles in total) at Flatwoods Park. This is a wide, paved, one-way trail perfect for cycling and roller blading.

Trailer queen ?????? Aren't they supposed to be called mobile homes or modular homes these days ?
Yep, they're manufactured homes since 1976 when HUD starting regulating their construction. But there is a whole story behind The Trailer Queen name. The point is to break the stigma of them being lower class housing. Believe it or not, I get nothing but a positive reaction from people who live in them that I work with- they love the brand!
