Hopkins Public Schools Pathfinder Exhibition & Gallery Walk
Fielding International's recent Pathfinder Exhibition at their Hummingbird Design Studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota, showcased innovative educational design in collaboration with Hopkins Public Schools. This interactive event featured a virtual reality tour of future learning spaces, highlighting five "Pathfinder" concepts aligned with Vision 2031. Attendees engaged in a collaborative experience, offering feedback to shape the educational environments of Alice Smith Elementary, Meadowbrook Elementary, North Middle School, West Middle School, and Hopkins High School. The event emphasized community involvement and marked the start of an ongoing journey to reimagine education.

My kids have been in this school since it opened and are seniors this year- They love it! Small class size, comfortable learning environment, knowledgeable/friendly/helpful staff and the ability to work at their own pace (and one of mine is in Spec. Ed.)

How marvelous! This school is a great marriage of vital learning spaces and engaged learners and teachers. You can see deep learning principles at work and at play in both the school’s design and the students and teachers’ practices. I loved that the video featured the voices of students, teachers, a parent and the principal. Their testimony carried such natural credibility. It was also inspiring. All in all, this “learning building” represents an outstanding collaboration of educators, students, parents, community members and architects.
