Hi there, congratulations on opening a suite. Can I please ask a couple questions? do you form your LLC/EIN before you have an address (A lease at the suite)? or were you taking in clients before all documents been cleared. It seems like it might takes like 2 months for everything to be done. (That must hurt your income if you couldn't work on clients in that time frame). My partner is going through the same thing, and we'd be very appreciated if you can give us some lights. Thank you!
Hey..Thank you! No I didn’t have anything completed when I moved in because I didn’t know I needed these things. When I signed my lease, the landlord just told me I was responsible for my own licensing/documents. One day State Board popped up to inspect one of my suite mates room and the inspector saw me. I told her that I just moved in a few months prior and I didn’t really know what to do. She gave me a list of everything I needed and gave me about a 1 month in a half to complete everything…..Also when I was suite shopping I noticed that most salon suites don’t require you to have the LLC/EIN before you move in, but it is expected that you get it completed ASAP once you sign your lease. In Louisiana it took me about a week to complete the LLC application and the EIN takes about 5 minutes. It really doesn’t take that long. But she can definitely start working on clients. Just work on getting your documents completed right away.

This response really shred some lights for us as we worried about all those documents/gap time, and we are meeting the suite landlords tomorrow, hopefully everything will go well. How do you feel about lotta body wrap lotion? When I did my flexi rod set my roots were really poofy
Hey! I used it before, but I noticed it left the hair flaky and I didn’t really care for the hold. I love Nairobi, because it doesn’t flake and has a nice hold and smooth finish. Also to avoid puffy roots, make sure you are using smaller sections and tension when setting the hair.
