I had a problem achieving 12@16 pounds, to achieve them I had a lot of positive camber, I ended up with 8 shims at the top

Back in the 40s things were so simple and things lasted they used these transmissions in 6 and 8 cylinder I think solid gear set

How did you remove drum from hubs?

You have a new follower. I just started a full rebuild on my mother's jeep we built when I was 11( I'm 34 now). 85 cj7 locked front and rear, 4:10s 4bolt 350( mild build) 4spd...jeep sat in a field the last 6 years.. she has no idea I bought it and am in the process of rebuilding it.. videos like this give me the motivation to swipe the credit card and spend long nights in the garage. Thank you.

Thank-you. You were the only person who could answer my questions. I was pulling the transfer case out, and the main shaft slid back too far causing those needle bearings to fall into the transmission. Thanks for the help and the great tips.

You need to slow down you did okay but you need to go slower and instead of hurrying through and doing it where you was hurrying and said you already did it you got to go slow and so you can see that cuz some of us are trying to watch this and learn not listen to what you already did

You damn CZcamsrs go too fast and don't go slow enough to explain how it actually works you hurry and then you tell it it's already done what the hell

So by the looks of it u have the t90 trans; I have the t84 trans, but the trans doesn’t matter .. it’s the Dana 18 transfer case that matters - so this could be put on a wartime (44) willys jeep… so I guess I’m gunna have to find and buy one…

How long would you say it took to pull it apart, clean everything and put it back together? For both the transmission and the transfer case. I've been meaning to rebuild mine forever but I just don't have the time. I know a good shop but they charge by the hour

That appears to be a Herm the overdrive guy kit for the master cylinder.

My '65 scout had 4.88 gears, the Saturn took care of that!

When I'm in 3rd gear, everything seems smooth until I let off the gas, and then there's this metallic, clunking sound. This issue doesn't appear in any other gears. I'm suspecting it might be the synchronizer rings. Would you agree or could there be another issue? Thanks in advance!

Having trouble with the copper crush nut leaking at the caliper and the caliper not moving/bleeding. Will try aluminum crush washers.

Nice video. I am going to do all 4 wheels my CJ2A. Can I do the rears with the same parts as you show for the front and do I need anything else? I believe I will have to change the brake line to connect to a banjo style line? Thank you!!

thanks a bunch for the vid , with any luck i will put one soon on my truck . aside from the fourth shifter turning any willys from bad to baddest , i love how the shifter is kept in place by creative use of the t 90 top cover bolts , and wondering if they supply a slightly longer bolt in the kit or if it is deemed uneccessary . have fun with that 3b and keep us updated on the progress thanks again jj

Instead of lifting the cluster gear can you just turn the case upside down and let it fall into place?
