LOL… I have 3 of these: a gold one with leather and high end silicone bands more for going out, a pepsi (red/blue) on high end silicone for daily use and a blue/black face on the original band (this one and have 2 extras from the others) as a work/beat around piece - they are great but for $50-60 they are fantastic !!!

Seems obvious... why spend $300+ on a first watch, when you don't even know if you'll enjoy wearing a watch. They're completely superfluous gadgets at this point. The Duro is a fine watch and will set you back $50. Frankly I wouldn't even consider Seiko 5 for my second watch. 😏 Overpriced, but, whatever.

lol, they’ve told me they were just going to go by WM. I have not heard the Wrist Movement before. Anyhow my watch was one of the batches that the moons didn’t not move. I had to send mine back. I am not sure if I will get another one. I’ll probably just end up getting another world timer.

I love mine ..Yes they are small but wow these are tough... Shame the seconds hand doesnt hit the markers but other than that superb lil entry level piece...The strap keeper is too over sized in my opinion yet the strap is rigid and takes a lot to break in if ever !!!! Really like the FIXED LUG Bars too !!! Although the strap is down as a 19mm you can wear 20mm natos zulus etc with ease with no scruntchin etc..If remember rightly the strap is 19.75mm ... IVE KEPT IT TOTALLY ORIGINAL on its supplied strap... The 36m STAINLESS STEEL VARIANT is what i really wanted & does come with 100m WR NOT 50 ...but as WES has stated below they are generally expensive to buy in the UK even for this model....Great short review...

It’s that good and versatile. 👌🏼 I also love that it’s made in Thailand, and the bracelet is made in Cambodia. It’s not made in China.

Hard to believe you're blown away by a watch with the most retarded chrono operation I've ever seen.

I have 2 questions: 1) There are 2 versions of this watch: 1) Yours, which has 'Quartz' below the S&S on the dial and 2) The other version, which has 'Geneve' under the S&S. I have no idea which one is the one to buy! 2) How does the chrono operate? I don't see a minute/hour counter, only seconds at 6 o'clock.

That crown looks kind of long. Did you find that it dug into your wrist at all? // also the lume - even though it's these plastic injected pieces that have lume paint mixed in to the plastic - it still looks a little uneven in the product shots I've seen. Would love to hear your experience in person

I had the Duro first myself before graduating to an SKX. The Duro is a great budget diver but the SKX is a big step up overall. But as you said near the beginning, if you're just looking for a dive watch in general and aren't going down the collector/hobby path the Duro will be perfect for just about everyone. Only issues are that the SKX is very expensive these days and its hard to get a Duro at a low price in Australia (the cheaper US offerings don't seem to ship to Australia anymore) 😥

I love solar watches. I have a few casio protreks in titanium. I sometimes wear them for weeks without taking them off. I just forget they are there and they just always work being solar with atomic radio controlled time keeping.

Have it on right now. Is it the baddest watch ever made? It might be. I have way more expensive watches and this one eats their lunch all day, every day.
