@@megitsune714 I know. But when you’re racing against time and everybody else on the server to get ahead, sometimes these things get forgotten. Having a loom full of carpet roles instead of high quality resources shouldn’t be a mistake that can be easily made

@@anthonyperson1179 I’m not sure if you played after season 1 or not. It was real bad in season 1. In season 2 and 3 it got a bit better though. The anticheat was slightly better and when you reported somebody and they got banned, you’d get your stuff back. Still not a perfect system but I think that’s more than most other extraction shooters do in terms of compensation after dying to a cheater

@@civil_specter honestly think of it like this going into a gta lobby to do a heist setup but every time you try do it you get griefed it isn't fun after awhile

@@anthonyperson1179 I’m not disagreeing. I’m just saying that it got better after season 1. I remember in season one you couldn’t play crescent falls or bring in anything higher tier than blue gear or you would guaranteed lose it to hackers. It wasn’t as bad after that. And every extraction shooter in this day and age is going to have some level of cheating in it. It’s just the unfortunate reality of gaming these days, especially on pc, and even more so with games that are shooters with loot involved because not only will you have the losers who want to be able to lie to themselves and their friends about how good they aren’t, but RMTing is most viable in loot based games which will always breed cheating issues

@@civil_specter i think to come back from all that push back is they have to either greatly remarket there game but its going to be tough if they do and also include the loot back from hacker kills ngl thats the only way i see it coming back, i cant imagine nerfs lol

@@anthonyperson1179 they had the loot return before the game shut down. There were bigger issues than cheaters. Yeager will more than likely not bring this game back, but there is a community driven project to bring it back that I hope is successful

@@kile3734 I would disagree with that being added personally. I think this games biggest strength was how easy it was to get into and understand coupled with the arcade shooter combat style, yet in a hardcore setting. Weapons and armor were color coded so that everyone could understand it right from the get go. There’s a stamina bar that depletes. Running and jumping visually expanded your crosshair so you knew you had less accuracy. There was a sliding mechanic while running. Everything about the combat meta’s were super simple to understand and jump right in, as well as completely adaptable from other fps games. No endless inventory Tetris really either. I think leaning would start to dial up the sweat level as well as adding new binds for somebody who’s used to playing other arcade shooters like apex and COD, and I don’t think that would play to this games strengths at all

yea I have so many from this game. These were the clips left on my hard drive. I actually uploaded like 3 or 4 times this to streamable back in the day and now they're all gone :(

No. I'm no expert, but I would assume that cancelling their game is always a last ditch option for a dev team when it is no longer economically sustainable. I spent a lot of money on this game, especially in the last season where they released a $100+ skin pack. If they were able to keep it alive but just needed a little money I think they would have probably released more skins and maybe done a twitch drop campaign or something. I think when a game is cancelled it means that all hope was lost. They also would have the same problem if they brought the game back in it's final state. Hardly anybody who remembers this game fondly is remembering it right before it shut down. The mobs and netcode in that state were so incredibly frustrating to deal with. Plus the cheaters. They would have to identify the true issues and make appropriate corrections. There is however a community project to bring this game back currently in the works. As soon as they are ok with that project going public, I will make a video on it.

Yes that's true because of the simple fact that the majority of gamers are PvE gamers and that would be the end of the content for people in that category

@@Connorcreatorprops I can’t tell yet. They didn’t want it going public. I’ll make a video when they are ok with it. I’ve seen what seems to be video evidence with recent time stamps that they are at least working on the game and making some level of progress. There was also a new addition to the team who is definitely familiar with the game on the coding side of things… I really wish I could say more. Just know it seems from my perspective that the chances of this game coming back, under a community driven project, seem very real. But I don’t know what the time frame looks like at all

@@reedrendered yea I mean I don’t think it would have been so hard for them to do if they had focused on the few important issues that we saw in the game from the very beginning that ended up persisting all the way to the end, instead of their one obsession that nobody even wanted that ended up ruining the game. That being ‘Advanced AI behavior’ as it was titled and present in every single patch. The extraction shooter genre is massive and one with more of an arcade style feel to the combat that was smooth and resembling apex that was also sci-fi/fantasy themed is something that would do just fine in todays atmosphere. They just didn’t fix the things that made the game playable
