Great effort staying calm and jolly...... but can I give you a tip... I run through fields all the time but if I see cows I walk.... and if I distract a Hurd and find them all behind be..... stop and the cows stop..... turn towards them take one foot forward and the cows are actually scared of you (as well as interested) If you run they will increase pace behind you - if you have a dog never let it off the lead as a crazy bunch of cows all running after your dog will end up following the dog at pace towards you.... Ay up me owd, thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Been looking at doing hike and camp on the canals myself but only started walking and wild camping last year so a bit green still. Not decided on which canal yet though the Llangollen canal is one I'm looking at. You got any plans on doing another and have you got any tips? I'll probably be using my Dutch Army hooped bivvy and a tarp for a more stealthy approach.
