interesting, my 93' 5.7l chevy conversion never got better than 14.7mpg with a 3.42 back then. by the book has 210hp 300ftlb. after I put in the 3.73 , it got close to 14mpg both city and highway. The 3" "single" exhaust and K&N air filter sure helped also, lol.

I love this car. I currently have the 2020 Limited and can’t wait for the 2024 but like @brian-us6vw said, the fingerprints are almost going to be a deal breaker for me. I am very OCD and that will annoy the heck out of me. I, will, of course keep wipes with me but doubt I will be able to keep it like new. Also, living in NE I’ll have to take my glove off every time just to adjust the heat. So as much as I love it, not sure what I’m going to do. 🤔🤔🤔 If I get it, it will be my 6th Sonata in a row as I’ve been v happy with all of them. 😇

25 mpg on the highway isn’t bad for a half ton pickup. The 3.3 can tow but not like 12000 lbs. Ford says with the 3.73 rear gears it’s 8200 for Regular Cab and SuperCab 4x2. For 4x4 and SuperCrew regardless of configuration it’s 8100 lbs. 3.55 gears are 5000 lbs. If you don’t have a tow hitch, I do not recommend towing on the bumper unless it weighs 500 lbs or less. I would recommend getting a proper tow hitch installed. If you want to tow more than that, I would recommend getting a 3/4 ton truck or a more powerful engine. The Ecoboost can tow more but they are less efficient than a naturally aspirated V8 when towing. Gas engines require fuel and air to run correctly and the more boost you put on the engine, the engine will be less fuel efficient. Smaller turbocharged engines can be more fuel efficient in certain circumstances but in order to be more efficient, you have to use less boost. Even the Chevrolet 6.2 V8 is more efficient when towing compared to the 3.5 EcoBoost.
