Ive had a class A cdl since 2000, im certain that they cannot force a dot inspection while on private property. They tried it before with me and i did not comply. I simply told them "they had no authority on private property, and they werent going to conduct an unwarranred stop, search, siezure, or inspection while im on private property not breaking any laws. If they want to inspect me, they can pull me over while im on the highway" and they left. However, they DID stop me later on the highway. Did a level 1 inspection and did not find violatikns.

I had to beg my driver trainer to take a shower every night. Some of them ARE slobs. Plus he was for sure over 300lbs. After less than 10 days on the road I asked to get dropped off near my hometown before the next two weeks never to return.

I gave up on the CB in the truck after 2012. They dont work with the plastic mirrors on new trucks anyway. New truck dont have a ground plane like the old metal trucks. Besides, it hurts more than it helps these days to talk to anyone
