THE WEST COMES ALIVE AT FORT BRAVO!
zhlédnutí 588Před měsícem
Suitably attired I donned my western gear for a 2 night stay in one of the Fort Bravo Bungalows and with the assistance of my partner, Jan, vidoed the evening shootout in the street outside the Saloon. Mainly shot with a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE phone (waiting today for delivery of the new S24 Ultra). Highly recommended venue for western enthusiasts and cat lovers! Duration 19mins.

IS THIS A VERY EARLY PHOTO OF A UFO? Abersoch 1937
zhlédnutí 230Před 2 lety
An analysis of a photo found in my late grandfather's 1937 photo album. An unusual cloud? An airship? The term Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) wasn't in our language until 1953. 6 years after Kenneth Arnold described seeing "flying saucers" near Mount Rainier, USA. So it was a term that would not have been in my grandfather's thoughts or vocabulary in 1937 when he took this photo. He had made ...

In the R-rated version of Jane, she wouldn't be wearing underwear.
This video is amazing, really showcases her many talents.
My dad used to work there, am sure I’ve got a video at home that my dad made in the factory with his co workers his name was Naz
What a great voice, enticing smile , Beautiful lady !!
The best entertainment was a young man Paul squire
A lovely person and a brilliant artist! ❤
This was the one where the great Larry Hagman blew his lines, and his mother, the actress Mary martin jumped in to help him .
She's AWESOME
She's clearly a him.
She is totally amazing. Unbelievable voice. Brilliant. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful that Mike & Tony got back togethet if John was aboard with Frank Allen that would have been incredible.
I very much like the song 'I Wonder' that they played at the end. It's very romantic and beautiful, creates many pleasant feelings and evokes the sense of bitter sweetness that one feels when you're in love. Most men in their 30s don't listen to this type of music these days if they even know of its existence. Strange how back then they said it was a more conservative time but the music of the 1960s is more honest, people baring their hearts about how they feel over their beloveds, in most un English fashion as well. People aren't brave like this now. How sad that in 2024 men are encouraged to express themselves in certain ways, but never sincerely and never as these bands of the 1960s did back then.
.brings a lump to my throat, so beautiful
Imagine…for the same price that resurrected this beauty, some idiot could get a condo in manhattan 😅
Assolutamente magnifico!
Arthur Askey, what a bore! As for Rod Hull , I've had funnier toothaches.
Just absolutely wonderful. Such history. Entertainment as it should be. Thank you very much indeed

I remember the show, Shindig. As I was 10 years old when this came on the air. I don't ever remember watching the show Shindig as a kid. I may have found it a bit corny? Or maybe Mikael's Navy was on? And I would never see the show because of something like that. Maybe it was the Andy Griffith show? Or, Highway Patrol with Brodrick Crawford. Yeah that's it. That's why I never saw Shindig. Of course next year. I stopped watching all of those shows. There was only one show I would care to watch.. It was called Star Trek. And it came on when I was in the 6th Grade. And we still had show and tell. So the morning after debuted. It was my turn to show and tell. So I got up from my desk. And I sauntered up to the front of the classroom. And I just stood there and looked at everybody in my class as I panned my view back and forth. I didn't say anything yet. Then I pulled my wallet out of my back pocket. And I flipped it open and said beam me up. And all the other kids started laughing. As they had all seen Star Trek the night before. And so I guess I did the first Comedy. Based upon Star Trek. Likely the first person in the world to do so. I thought I was pretty clever. As I was also the Captain of our schools A V Team. Which would let me just get up and walk out of class. And go take a slide projector or a record player or a tape recorder or movie projector. To another classroom and set it up. Get it all checked out. Then go back to class. Yeah I felt pretty special. And I had a crew of kids that worked under me. I remember one day. One of my crew members. Dropped a Bell & Howell movie projector down the stairs. It got kind of busted up. And while we could've just sent it out for service. I didn't want to be down a projector. So. I set out in the hallway. While my teacher was teaching. And I disassembled the entire projector I was going to fix it. And fix it I did. But my teacher wondered what happened to me? Any came walking out into the hallway. And… OH MY GOD! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! I just fixed it. You didn't have to he told me. I said yeah I know. But now we're not going to be down a projector for a couple of weeks. He knew he had a firecracker on his hands. I loved my teacher. My teacher loved me. He was so much fun. He was a great teacher. I think about him all the time. He had a hot yellow, brand-new Corvette stingray. I stayed after school one day. Working on some gear. And he was still grading papers. When I got done. The sun was already going down. And he was ready to leave. He said hey I'll drive you home. I said thanks. And it was in that yellow Corvette stingray. And he wanted to give me a little thrill. And he gunned it a couple times. And that was perfectly fine. Because. Because we were right off of 11 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue. Known as dragracing capital of America. And everybody did it back in the 1960s. They still do it, today. It's where it was Invented. And my dad used to take me down to the dragstrip,, semi-regularly. It was so much fun. I miss those simple or days. Everything has gotten so complicated today. I don't like the over complexity everyone is forced to live with. Even our cars. Nearly impossible to repair today. There are so many computers in them. What happened to simplicity? Basics. Tradition. It's gone. And Baby Boomers like myself. We are dropping like flies. It's all over. RemyRAD

Awesome Bouke 👌 ❤❤❤
Most of the new comedians today are crap. They all run around the stage swearing and think that is funny. They cannot stand there and tell a good joke.
She is very talented. I have seen her in 2019 in Toronto. She a cherry on top of a cake.
she makes me so mad. is it fair she can look so good and be so talented ??? i cant carry a tune in a box

What a Great Talent! This lady could really sing. The 70's was a good time to be a young lady starting out and with Helen's Anthem" I'am Woman" iT really made the 70's an Era to be remembered and Cherished..
What a voice!
I remember Arthur Askey and Tommy Trinder very well. Even in those days, they were both about as funny as a bad case - a very bad case - of toothache combined with a migraine.
ah Trinder! What a wally
This is much better than the actual film which is complete rubbish. Not surprisingly it was directed by Michael Winner which explains everything
The person singing does sound a tad course, even for the levels of then technology. This is not Lilly Langtry Singing. Lilly Langtry is my Grandfathers Aunty (his mothers sister). Not too sure about her surname being Galimberti - I will hunt down my Grandfathers mothers detail via his birth certificate (maybe a challenge as just moved home)
My song with me and My 1st Son. RIP RICHARD!
Thank you for sharing this treasure.
