@@BITESIZEJONES It didn't matter what or where it was in line/* isolated, 9v bat or plugged in , I'm not new to this ,This pedal wasn't right, I don't want to drag anyone but Chris shouldn't have been selling it with it popping, Actually it's mind blowing to me people would over look it / keep it, There's no way one could use it in a live setting, I guess he (Chris) sells to a majority of bedroom players who are some what clueless, I have a video of it popping i should add it public to save some the headache of returning and waiting 3 weeks to be refunded. I hope his other pedals aren't like this...... Oh yeah its a great pedal !!! Just one small detail it has a huge pop every time you engage it. I'm not playing that game, I couldn't even keep it to resell with a clear conscience was to afraid it would be returned to me.

@@BITESIZEJONES Wrong, The pedal put out the Pop volume up / volume down , It doesn't matter Chris put out a defective pedal, That said now i know you don't have one of them other wise you'd stop talking all this BS, The pedal is a POS.

@@3rdtonefromthesun Listen dude I'm 56 years old, I bought original NKT 275 fuzz faces back in the 80s before you were alive, all fuzz faces don't do that anyone who thinks they do is uneducated & just plain old stupid when it comes to effects pedals & would settle for any old POS pedal.

Hi! I don’t have the red one but compared to the blue Caprid, the 47/73 is much bassier and darker overall and has more scoop. It takes a bit to get it dialed in, but sounds magical when you do. The blue Caprid is more Goldilocks in terms of having almost the perfect amount of everything.

I just ordered the blue one today! I sold the red one because the moody sound. How is your pedal so far???

@@oviedo5554 It’s definitely different than the red. It’s very hard to compare the two, but the blue seems to have more top end/gain.

@@Fuzzbot71 ok thanks! I had one a long long time ago and now I'm curious how it'd sound through a DLS. That catalinbread pedal has changed my life as far as using fuzz pedals with bedroom amp volumes!

They went out of business a number of years ago. You can check out butterfly effects pedals in England. They custom build a exact clone the p450 and a derivative called the p450+ that replaces the swell with a boss slow gear effect. Some swells on the original design apparently get hinky is the reason for the derivative..

No LED for the fuzz.

Oh man, lucky you! I just picked up an MXR Sub Machine (also a Foxx Tone Machine derivative) and a Mooer Slow Engine (auto volume swell pedal) trying to get a similar sound. They sound pretty cool together but can't hold a candle to the mojo of the real thing. If you ever get tired of that beast let me know ;P

post up a video demo...im about to take a similar approach with the mooer slow engine and a ring modulator pretty soon. I really dig the swell on the EXP pedal but i think with individual pedals for each function would add more flexibility...
