Brian Barnetzke, the trumpet player on the left, passed away yesterday morning at the age of 65.

Enjoyed many trips around the dance floor to Gary and the Ridgeland Dutchman. Lots of fun.

I have never seen that the third trumpet player you certainly plays knife has a good tone the reason Donnie burkhart's but the older gentleman is playing the first part the melody is he has such a distinctive and bigsound he's like several of the trumpet players around here there's sound like two or three trumpets playing in unison like the idea of a choir

The older gentleman is Donnie Burkhardt 70 + years professional musician he just recently passed away interesting thing is to watch him at the end of a phrase and he turns his trumpet away from the mic cuz he's going to use a little more volume to get the high note so he takes it away from the microphone

That lead trumpet player the older guy Donny Burkhart a real good friend of mine that played with my brother years ago with the Babe Wagner band in New Ulm effective toward they were right here in Texas

Carly's probably best with the trumpets and certainly three makes it really good his first trumpet player is a 70-year year professional musician Johnny Burke heart was a friend of mine my brother dick Rosenthal that played Sousa like you see Tony Kaminsky playing here Tony does some real good playing without too many extra notes at Carlos killing most of the stuff so he really doesn't get a chance to do that I've heard him play with other bands where they let him run while he certainly can do that keep going Carl
