"turku meripalastus" sovimme että kopteri tulee kannallenne ja ruotsista tulee kasi kopteria. En vain pysty käsittämään tätä epäsuhtaa matkustajamäärissä vs onnettomuuden sattuessa kykyä tehdä mitään muuta kuin uutisia kaatuneista. Voin vain kuvitella miltä menehtyneiden omaisista tuntuu
Estotinan could even arranghate that
Kapal Ferry mv Estonia tenggelam wafat 28 September 1994
For all those not believing in any theories. Why was someone using a carrier wave to block Helsinki Radio from hearing the communications on an emergency channel? Does not compute, unless....
It feels weird to be able to understand everyone’s speaking even though it’s three completely different languages
Bless those who put out to sea. I keep you all in my prayers, and wish you calm seas and good fortune 🌹⚓
horrific.
I’m so angry who cut off the signal between Mareilla and Estonia Mareilla was the closest to Estonia while she was going down more people could have survived if the the signal wasn’t cut
Why are they speaking 3 different languages? There are finnish, swedish and eesti. That feels a bit unprofessional.
check the similar case with Polish ferry "Jan Hewelisz" on Naltic see as well. According to tje different sources both Jan Heweliusz and Estonia were used for illegal concealled weapon shipments. Some of the cargo from Estonia wast taken by the Estonian military divers within next few hours after the ferry sank. There ar visible traces that hard tools were used underwater to allow divers to enter through the front bow. That is why both Jan Heweliusz and Estonia were set by nearest governments as forbideen to dive there and forbidden to excavate and refused to connect baloons and raise both wreckeges and deliver both ferries to the shipments. Some of the illegal cargo is still there. And both incidents were not natural.

FINLANNDD!!! ok no this is not the best timing
Estonia Estonia
5:10 Nice
This one of the saddest recordings ive ever heard .You can hear the fear in his voice and alarms ringing in the backgound.
0:30 I'm starting to think that after Estonia said mayday 2 times, you can hear like metal creaking noises
1:47 19:08 20:37 ive been looking for swedish words in this video
You can hear how scared the first guy on Estonia radio calling mayday is
3:40 it sounds like there are plates smashing and clattering in the backround
Everything in the ship is crashing to one side. The crew still in the bridge is struggling to even use any equipment, they are literally hanging from various furniture and instruments. The ship is leaning at around 30 degrees at that point which quickly turns into 50 degrees before it finally flips over completely and goes under.

That’s the Finnish way of handling the situation, calm and composed even in this panic situation :( my heart goes out to them!!! Seems everyone tried their best to help!! But can’t imagine how long period they were in depression after this tragedy happened. 😢
I know this is very serious, but 1:40 was really funny
When you hear the panic in his voice, and remember the fact that almost 900 people died, this recording becomes quite eerie...
Ms estonia 😢😢😢😭😭😭💔⛴️🌧️🌬️🌊
Take in note that this whole operation took place under heavy storm. Rainy, cold, huge waves and poor visibility. Europa's radio operator is truly an amazing man coordinating the rescue, and so was Estonia's, telling their exact position until the last possible moment.
Mikähän häiriö vhf kanavalla oikein oli tuona yönä?
Näin pitää hoitaa iso käsi Silja Europa kapteenille
terrible I had no idea the vessels got there so soon and could do very little to help because of the weather, people were dying in liferafts from hypothermia while they could probably see not far away a ship that was warm safe and dry
you love Estonia
The response from the Finnish authorities and ships were very poor. It was post Soviet times, Finland was extremely poor from the depression , the rescue organizing procedures werent existing. Some ships English skills was very poor, ships had no means of searescue arrangements... today the rescue outcome would have been quite different. But still today this accident will happen again, negliance and poor seamanship is still an issue on Finnish crewed ships.
Bot!
Communism doesn't work.. Estonian is as close a language to Finnish as Dutch is to English. Captain Avo Piht was born in the USSR. People spoke more Swedish when it wasn't taught in schools. Studying Swedish was not compulsory during C.G Mannerheim's presidency.
This video proves you wrong.
Can someone answer my question ??please❤ thank you.i know the ship sank.My question is,what are the ways that the crew did to save the ship??
I don't think they could do anything, the list developed very quickly and it capsized
This is the most terrible last boardcast ever heard on CZcams. So sorry for the people who lost their lives on the horrible tragedy of sinking of M/S Estonia. The horror just sounds too real... And it was.
Sila Europa Svarar ..... MayDej ..... Okej
Scary hearing those sounds in the background of Estonia, at the Mayday call there's something violently shaking in the background and when he gives the final part of the cordinates it sounds like water is storming in to the bridge. Rest in peace to everyone who went down with the ship. 🙏

Why it was pan-pan, not mayday?
i looked up the meaning of Pan Pan and no idea Edit: the Estonia's radio calls said they were listing about 30 degrees so they didnt think it was that urgent
@@Rantasalmi47 Ok, kiitos! Seems right.
@@Rantasalmi47But at 3:48 it is looking really bad.... Really bad right now😢.
There is something who is not right on is this ongoing investigating.
