In honor of a successful completion of 2816's cross-continent Final Spike Steam Tour, Highballing Berk brings to you highlights of our trip with this beautiful engine. Great footage! I can't decide whether the dog running into the shot at Cowgill is annoying or cute. At least it's better than the two buttheads who paced the engine obstructing my shot all the way down Front St. in Lansing, IA.

what is the silver wheel thing on the right side of the cab
It’s a screw reverse instead of a power reverse like most have. 1225 at the Steam Railroading Institute has the same thing
