Very recently diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver and the Dr. mentioning transplant, which I want to avoid at all cost, I took to heart and into consideration the eating guidelines. Lower sodium became very important to me and so I’m sharing what I learn to help others in my situation and their caregivers. Let’s explore the products and recipes together!

Hi Krista , thank you for the suggestion. I considered those but I’m limited sodium Wise. So I have to use other sources. My milk is good for those things so I need to just search out more edible sources

@@Losoforlife You have have 50 envelopes, you number each envelope from 1 to 50 and place that amount in envelope. Some do it in sequential order or random order and you can fill out a tracker for the completed envelope. This challenge can be weekly, bi-weekly or whenever you have the funds.

Yes, there's absolutely nothing wrong with getting food from a food pantry! Nobody should have to be hungry, and the money saved by going to a pantry can be used to pay other bills.

Brother and I don't shop walmart much. Aldi is across the street from the walmart in the city we live in. We find for most of what we want aldi is the store we go to. I like family fare ford meats

It’s insane what they get for eggs these days! We now limit them to just a weekend meal, where before we would hard boil them and use them in recipes. Trying to avoid that now. His blessings to you also!
@@Losoforlife I remember the time when eggs were a very inexpensive meal. Growing up when my parents were low on money and waiting for payday. We ate a lot of eggs with pancakes or French toast.

It is 22° where I live we had snow earlier. I am staying home tonight it's just too cold to go anywhere. Some of the roads are icy and muddy. Just listen to the weather report on the news and it's been advised to stay inside unless you absolutely have to go somewhere. Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🧑🎄.

So funny!!! Ours looked about the same as yours. We left it on the counter to "dry" and by morning all the candies were missing from it - hahahaha Oh well sometimes the "anticipated" is much better than the "result" but its always fun trying.
I’m mellow about it, but I’m over it. I can say I’ve done it. And oh, the frosting was disgusting that came in the kit. I just used some open frosting I had in the fridge. It is what it is. 🙂

Im enjoying your videos, but I always have trouble hearing you, even when I have my laptop volume turned all the way to the top. I really wish you would turn up your mic, get closer to it, or speak louder. I LOVE ham salad! I just use ground ham, mayo and pickle relish or chopped up pickles on a soft bun! yum!
Unfortunately I can’t afford to upgrade anything like that right now. But I’ll try speaking up more. Ham salad is as great way to use up ham. 😊

Have you tried signing up for EBT, utlity payment assistance etc? If only your husband is working and there are 3 of you, I bet you would qualify for most of your state and some federal benefits.
We live in a tourist community and taxes are very high…everything is more expensive here. If those programs used net pay rather than gross or what was left over after expenses we’d qualify, but we make just a tad too much so pantries are saving us right now
I dont think cutting it in half is going to save anything on the soap. However, if you take the soap out of the boxes and let them dry out a bit they DO last longer. Im not sure why, but it does. I too only use 1/3rd of the normal amount of laundry soap, but I have to use a whole dryer sheet due to static. Rather than using less shampoo/conditioner, I only wash my hair twice a week now. My hair is much healthier because of it.

Hi @Q Q. Thank you for asking. Before the Pandemic you could from what I understand but now they shop for you and put it all on a cart. They don’t have any conditions on who receives food.
