Cut to me heading to dollar tree and dollar general, getting paint samples from Ace, and making my home have tons of pops of teal "clay" vases and bowls.

I would have saved it if I could but there was marks from a straightener right over the flower details and zero clear coat applied to protect any of it 😌

Okay, still miffed that you painted wood. However, making it look like wood, better.
It actually wasn’t solid wood at all so no need to stress ! 🥰 it was just a little MDF cabinet !
Isnt it better to show what tool like angle n brush you are using?
I used a small right angle triangle and a tiny dollarstore angled brush ☺️ hopefully that answers your questions!

For the black bowl used for the pedestal vase, what is the top? I seem to never be able to find something similar shape at the dollar store
It is a plastic flower or plant bowl which I believe is by the vases or in the garden items area.

Those are all great tips. But can I give you one. Clean your piece before you sand. You are grinding all that dirt and grime into your piece if you don’t clean it before you sand. I stay home as well but I have a business doing this. I work from home and I love it. Flexible hrs
Hi Annetta! I did actually wipe the whole piece down with a microfibre cloth before I started and I always blow all the pieces off with our air compressor before I bring them into the garage!

The brush is actually just a dollarstore craft brush with a slight angle! Just something small is all you need!
