Glad to hear that! Most people only visit the tourist areas in Thailand and there is much more to see and enjoy than beaches and bars! National parks are great for those of us who like to hike and walk. Mountain temples also offer a unique challenge as they involve climbing giant staircases.

Ah ok. The flex has built in features but it is not as well built as the Smart+. The Smart+ is a workhorse, it is able to withstand temperature changes, is made very rugged and I highly recommend it. The flex is good if you are an amateur photographer and plan to photograph lightning with your camera in a very safe place. The build is not as durable. I have used my smart plus in the arctic, in the desert in Egypt in mid summer, in Thailand during rain season and everything in between. It has built in redundancy so if something fails it can be used with the Bluetooth app or update / reset remotely. The battery lasts for days and you can do a lot with the smart+ with a lot of control. The flex offers on device photo editing and storage. This combined with an inferior build to me makes it unreliable. I would certainly go with the Smart+ and I will have some photoshop tutorials uploaded soon to compliment this video if you need more help. You can also ask me on here or send me an email if you would like to know how to do something, I now have 5 years experience working with this device in some of the craziest conditions you can think of 😉

They just put a whole load of it in around here the last 2 months which is a nice break from the palm plantations. You never see any fruit or vegetables out that way but there is also an ethanol and oil refinery about 5km west so it makes sense.

Thanks but this isn’t Phuket we are showing right now. We are showing Thailand for what it is outside the tourist attractions. My son is half Thai and these will be his home movies later on in life. Dad tossed on some hiking boots and took him around to see his country as it was something I did when I first came here as well. We will have more from Phuket after a really long hiatus due to the pandemic and my son being born in Bangkok. I had to wait until he’s old enough to handle that much “experience” as it can be overwhelming for kids in Patong and at night.

Junior is and for being the age he is he is pretty well behaved considering how tired they get and how fast it can come on. We did another temple last year with steps about 3 times higher and 2/3 of the way up he was tired of having to be carried. This one seemed just right for him. The next video he runs around in the actual temple after walking down the stairs himself. He had a blast with the acoustics. Thanks for watching.

😂 in this area there is 1 taxi driver and I don’t think he’s legit. Thailand in general is pretty safe compared to say Brazil or Laos though. Excluding Pattaya which is a complete s**t hole that is.

For 1 being from a small town in Canada this is not safer than where I am from and for 2 this video is not Bangkok. There is only 1 taxi driver in the whole town, and I don’t think he’s registered he just drives around in a faded orange vest. There was also no grab, no bolt or any other services you would find in Bangkok. I almost lost a finger when I was attacked in Pattaya with a kitchen knife. I’ve witnessed accidents and people take of from them that were just horrific. Then there’s the police… so yeah it’s safer than Lao or Brazil, few other places I’ve been. I’m not really going to get into more about it because I’m not wanting it to sound like I’m trashing Thailand because I’m not and I certainly wouldn’t want to scare off the typical tourist but it’s not as safe as many places and much more safe than many others. It’s just Thailand and if you aren’t Thai you should always be vigilant.

Glad to hear it helped! If you find the storm is far away, more than 3 miles you may need to slow the shutter a bit. I have to update this video to accommodate additional conditions. When a storm is farther the bolts appear slower because the light needs to travel a greater distance. A delay of 1 or 2 ms on the Miops can assist with that or slowing the shutter speed 1 or 2 stops.

I’m not sure what they are doing. When I took the footage years ago now, when 360 cams were a new thing I offered to see if I could buy some animals and PETA told me that was wrong, I was just going to teach them that they could keep doing this and they would continue. At the time I had thought I may be able to get the gorilla out between funds I had saved and some other people I knew willing to chip in. If you do a search there’s a 360 walkthrough of the zoo. The manager was on me like white on rice so I didn’t really have much freedom to walk around but at the same time they let me get really close to some of the animals and interact with them which granted the situation wasn’t the Best but it was still an experience to hold an orangutans hand and whatnot.

Sorry but Pattaya is now behind us that’s why it’s being published now. These are all off a 360 camera and take a while to make. Don’t worry about your transfer or getting about it will be fine. If it’s prearranged someone will be there, for that stuff Thais are normally early on the pickups. There is a truck that runs the area you can hop on and off for 10 baht if all else fails. Install bolt when you arrive if you don’t have it already it’s the currently the best way to get a proper taxi or ride share fare until you get settled and know some people.

It’s the best that can be done with what is available as cheese and other ingredients in Thailand are not quite the same as in Korea or anywhere else. Quality of cheese and use of Thai labor would be part of this as they will adapt it to their own tastes after learning.

Yes! Very good but it was not easy to find a nice version in typical pattaya areas. The city is such a poor representation of Thailand and we are trying to feature shops that are authentic and appropriate in price. There will be a hidden gems episode and a best market for what items released late next week. I think you will find your desert shown in the market video as it is one of Juniors favorites.
