Beautiful melody, great playing....
Thank you Lydia. It is a beautiful melody.
@@brnfrederick Yes it's is beautiful....
Jazz rock pedal Brian-lovely rendition
Thank you Simon. I like how the pedals came through .
This is beautiful Brian. This is just a lovely speed to play it in as well. I always have a tendency to play it too fast xx🎉
Smashing 😊 especially the extemporising at the end. Nice finish.
Enjoyed, great.
Hi, im trying to find the notes to the organ solo. Could you please make us a tutorial video please.
Thank you James, I am very pleased that you enjoyed it.
Hello Brian. I always admire keyboard players who can perform three things at once. The pedals, left hand and right hand melody. As I play entirely by ear I am always inspired watching musicians like yourself. A wonderful performance of this Beatles classic. 🙌
Beautiful. What a genius that Mr Mozart was. Well played maestro.
I like it Brian, sounds great, I have heard this song before, but didn't know the name of it...
Thank you Lydia. It is Andante from Mozart’s piano concerto No 21. It is more commonly known as Elvira Madigan where it was featured in the movie.
Really enjoyed listening. The EL70 has really nice drawbar flute section. Nice playing Brian.
I don't know the song, but I like it, great playing....
Thank you Lydia, the song is on Beatles for Sale album.
The solo in the middle was unrehearsed.
Forget the Fugue Brian? Flows beautifully- I prefer Czerny's edition .
I always have other stuff to learn in front of the fugue but I would like to get round to it at some point. From memory, I think it is pretty difficult. I do remember you playing it .
@@brnfrederick I am still perfecting it. The art is articulating the voices, there is no rush - the dynamics are brilliant. Crazy me alternates WTC with Bebop! Once you have that under your belt there are 23 to go. I detune to Baroque pitch and Lehman temperament and favour the clavichord as a nod to what Bach would have been playing and composing on.
Very nicely played! Well done, Brian!
Thank you Odette. I try to get a good range dynamics and get tension and release. I know there is loads of room for improvement.
Bravo, que lindo ❤ O seu dom acalmou a alma de uma pessoa que esta no Brasil :), obrigado por isso.
Thank you so much. Such lovely comments.
Smashing! Very well played. Great sounding piano too.
Thank you Keith. The notes are very easy to read but the “execution” is difficult with the dynamics. The tremble in my left arm definitely doesn’t help.
Brilliant well played
Thank you Ian
Very good. I could see that song accompanying the title of a Western movie. :-)
Excellent.
Many thanks Max
Like number 2. Wonderfully played Brian. Thank you for sharing 👏👍😊🎶
Thank you Markus
Wow a professional performance there Brian!
Shame about the squeaky piano stool. I have now fixed it but a bit like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.
Super Brian.
Now I didn’t know you could do that. Sounds good and you look the part too.
Like a bit of extemporaneous. :-)
Thanks keith
Fa...!!! Súper Brian....😁
Thank you Enrique
Smashing version, Brian. Really enjoyed your playing and great orchestration.
Many thanks Keith, I do like the little solo. Not what I call an improvisation as I rehearsed it but I knew how I wanted it to sound.
Why did you leave out the all important slide that everyone remembers and wants to hear!!!!
Thank you for your question Randy. Had I been playing the organ part alone as many people do, I would have included the Glissando. On this occasion, I was focussing on the melody whilst including as much of the organ accompaniment as I could. Gary Brooker is singing (and so it was that later ) when the glissando occurs. It would have been difficult to include both as they occur simultaneously. Because I was primarily playing the melody, I prioritised on that. Hope that explains it.
Beautifully played Brian. Very well done 🎶👍
It is not complicated, take it slowly and then when comfortable speed up bit by bit.
Does the EL70 have a mambo rhythm Brian?
It does have a mambo rhythm but on this number I felt it sounded too busy. I think it sounded better at half speed . (playing the tune at 210 but the mambo beat at 105) I like my choices better.
WOW, I love this Brian, I have this song in a book but have never played it, & after watching & listening to you I may never be able to do it, looks complicated, love the beat....
Congrats Brian. Great music. I also have a Hammond 146. Greetings from México City.
Thank you , the 146 is a really good organ. Sadly I no longer have mine. Greetings to you from Scotland.
Brian, you are using voices with a slow attack- perhaps choosing poppy voices would make life easier. Great to see the substantia nigra ganglia behaving too! Keep going with the Sambas!
What are poppy voices?
@@brnfrederick Percussive; Organ tones
@@DohcHama Oh I see, I do usually prefer to use organ tones. I never really wanted all the brass strings etc. On this however I had the sounds I wanted in my head for the various sections but it needs more practice. I will probably not play it again for a couple of years and then have to learn it all over again.
Very good, wish I could play this song that well...
Thank you for listening Lydia.
@@brnfrederick You're welcome Brian...
Using 8 beat rhythm experiment 226 bpm.
Very nice, Brian well played .
Many thanks Mick.
