As usual the city just has excuses. the city has had floods for years and did nothing. Why is there no plan in place? Why wasn't this info put on a website for us to review before hand instead of wasting time telling people what you can't do? Why isn't there an information page with all the info for people to get help. Answer questions as they go along? There should have been a contingency years ago. There should have been drains leading out of Kalamazoo years ago and don't cite money, because there was a time when the money was there. It is easy for you to say we weren't there then. I have asked for the 35 years since I lived here why there is not a way to drain the streets that flood again and again. Where are the solutions. You can't say you didn't see this type of flooding coming. Now with the water rising over the past several years, what next? Why do you let people build in flood areas to begin with. Doesn't make any sense. I have had many other concerns over the years about other issues, but it is no use, because all we get are excuses.
