At no point does it say what kind of battery it takes. Truly baffling.
I replaced the battery on that detector, so easy
mine has a red and blue wire that goes each side of the better. having a had time trying to include the 2 wires as there seems no place to click them on.

I AGREE 100%. The cover should slide up and lock in the tabs. It's not working for me as easy as this video shows. Here it almost looks like it slid in realy easy with magnet guidance.
I replaced the batteries but my touchscreen still says the battery is low. I rebooted myself but this did not help. Any idea what is wrong?

@@peacelovemusic5793 it stopped chirping but my panel is still showing low battery on my smoke alarm. I’m gunna call to have someone look at it
Your sensor life may be coming to an end
there is no video as the title describes it's just a constant loop of video ads, no matter how many ads you watch no ability to skip and the play feature only keeps looping ads.

Amazing, how'd you get it off the wall? Mine is mounted 3" from the ceiling by ADT 🤷♂️
Me too! I can't seem to get to top of unit to pry open. Odd thing is how long my old battery lasted in the unit. Original homeowner didn't even know there was a battery in the unit after living there for 18 years!

Yay! My detector would not go back on and was driving me crazy with the incessant alarms every time I failed to get it back on. I really appreciate this video for helping me.
