Really good review

We bought this at Target for $7 years ago. Played once and loved it. Had a total blast with it. Love the way it flows and the theme/setting is amazing as well. Such a great piece of American and aviation history. Sadly though, we only ever played it once. Like you said, it got lost in the shuffle but we're aiming to get it to the table again very soon.

i know this is an old video but the web site for this game says 1-5. my box says 2-5. my game is the version shown on this video. i wanted this game for solo. love the theme. but after reading more and more there have been issues with their solo rules and people on their kickstarter page are less than happy. do you happen to know anything about the solo mode? i dont want to open my game box ad be disappointed if there is no solo mode.

Do you think that the shapes of the yellow and orange pieces are too similar? I think that with two shapes that similar, they could have matched them with two very different colours, like yellow/purple or orange/blue.

When I was married, my wife was colorblind, and we often discussed the possibility of starting a company just to make colorblind-friendly parts for existing games. Back in the early 2000s, I don't think that would have flown, but nowadays, there might be something in it. Honestly it surprises me that more game companies don't take this into account and, when they do, advertise it.

I'm definitely interested in this campaign so I'll get it eventually. Being from Days of Wonder it will probably still be in stock by the time I get around to it : )

It looks like such a fun game, but man, that designer's note! You make a great point: if you didn't feel good about the theme, don't take on the project. We've gone further and accused the designers and publishers, by their own rationale, of being just as exploitative because they sure didn't mind using the theme to put money in their pockets, did they? And do we even need to say anything about where the game was likely made....? It's false virtue and it's gross. Unfortunately, in the gaming world, this seems to be a sad trend you see in designers, enthusiasts, podcast hosts and publishers alike. All while they whistle past the graveyard about the fact that by buying a game in the modern day, they likely financially support literal modern day, happening right now as we speak, slavery. It's quite astonishing. Loved that line where you told everyone to read a book. Not sure if it was meant to be funny, but it was funny. Please, though, no more animals! Another great video. Keep em coming.

I've had this vacuum now for 3 years no problems. It has fallen many times and never broke, the vacuum falls were my fault not the machine. I would definitely recommend! Sturdier than you might think!

You could play a variant called Capitol Risk as stated in the manual. It's shorter and more objective orientated.

This video and concert is over a month old and the same 10 people from the FB page are still trying to defend this concert, even commenting here, despite the fact that a number of people walked out of the show before it ended and that they even took time to post their negative feelings on the Ticketmaster page. So let me summarize again and please keep in mind this was my FOURTH Wallflowers show and I am someone who once upon a time was deep into their music, way deeper than just One Headlight and 6th Avenue Heartache, there was a time in the late 90s to the early 2000s where this was one of my top bands and I really played the heck out of Red Letter Days, Breach, and Bringing Down the Horse.....: 1) the bickering between Jacob and the light guy was distracting, unprofessional, and perhaps the most uncomfortable moments I have ever seen in all the concerts I have been to 2) too many covers, I did not go to the show or pay money to see so many covers, did they do a good job with the covers sure, but they did too many and at the expense of their own songs and it was their songs I took the time and paid the money to see 3) speaking of songs, all of the above issues could have resolved if they had just played more songs that the audience clearly wanted to hear, they did too many songs off their 2021 record and then add the covers and they just did not play enough songs that the audience wanted to hear off records 2,3,4.....coming on stage late they went right into several songs there was clearly no connection with the audience. Again, they are more than one headlight and 6th avenue, and they are not a nostalgia act playing songs stuck in 1998, with that said, they did not balance "newer" material with songs the crowd wanted to hear. Take out some of the 2021 songs and a couple of covers, put in some deep tracks from records 2,3,4 and you would have had a much better concert. I recently saw Seminsonic and Del Amitri who both did a great job balancing music from the 2020s with their music from 1996 and the crowd loved it. Bottom line is people were walking out of the show. There was a couple a row or two in front of me who I overheard talking about how this was the first time they were out of the house in a long time to see that concert and after the arguing with the light guy, another cover, and a bunch of songs they did not know they walked out before the show ended.....perfectly sums up the experience.

They have been making up concert dates that were canceled twice due to Matchbox 20 pulling out, so many people haven't heard any of the last album's songs live yet. Exit Wounds is my second favorite Wallflowers album, so I would have loved the first part of the show.

He was such a dick??? Really?? 1st of all the lighting kid which he was was told exactly during soundcheck what he wanted no moving lights just a spotlight!!! How was he full of himself?? Explain?? What about the birthday shout out to the little girl on her birthday! That’s why he played BabyBird for her. Did you know that song is a lullaby for his boys that he wrote 20 years ago?? And maybe if you were more of a fan of his music and haven’t seen them in the last 10 years you’d know what to expect at a show! And BTW he apologized to the lighting KID after the show even though the kid fucked up all night long!!!!
