An old Irish ballad from the 19th century, the song was written about a young woman called Mary who was called The Rose Of Tralee because of her outstanding beauty.
The International Festival is an annual event held in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. It celebrates Irish culture and includes a beauty pageant where young women from around the world compete for the title of the Rose of Tralee.

The highest waterfall in Ireland is in the Beara Peninsula. It is 1150ft tall. It is also taller than any waterfall in the UK. Places that are tourist sites always lie to bring in the tourists. Like the Brazen Arms in Dublin says it is Ireland's oldest pub, when really it is Sean's Bar in Athlone, which is centuries older than the Brazen Arms.
