I first went and bought this game blind because I was curious and wanted to try another FPS game, I barely even knew what Eternal was, hell this was my first DOOM game. Little did I know I would adore this game. Best decision I have made, period.

Kindly agree to disagree. Game is extremely grindy, even as a racing game, physics/handling feel horrible, vehicles are way too overpriced for the sake of more grinding. The part drops as you continue to progress to better vehicles are ridiculously hard to acquire the actual parts you want yet you'll get cheaper more useless crap. Just feels like it was intentionally developed to have the user get into it and then have to spend real money to feel any type of real progression. Kudos to those who enjoy it but not worth the time unless you have an absurd amount of hours to invest in a game that is ultimately trying to get as much money out of you before they disconnect the servers and the game you invested so much time into no longer exists. Stay away from supporting these shady ass practices by game developers.

This is, imo.. the greatest game of all time.. I completed the OG version about 5 yrs ago on PC, but im now replaying the Complete ed on PS5.. and loving it.. my only minor irritation is that on PS5, the controls with the controller are a little bit unresponsive .. at times... but thats just a minor annoyance.. the game is amazing and im looking forward to playing and exploring all the DLCs and added content.. Ill be on for months 😁

Good review, although I'd like to point out one thing. The reason some people (including myself) dislike subscription services is often not because we're used to free to play games, as that's a bit of an extreme, we're just used to paying for games once and being able to play them until the servers are shut down. But I do understand non-F2P MMOs are basically all subscription based.

I really tried to get into this game, but it's not for me. Probably because mods don't drop loot, instead they drop upgrade materials. Which is fine I guess, but it feels like you aren't really progressing. Also there is way too much RNG for my liking.

after they abandoned medieval engineers i really distrust the devs and keen software as a whole its not early minecraft era where everyone tried to copy each other space engineers 2 dont offer much compared to first game so it likely gonna have same fate as payday 3 the futurue of space engineers is DLC farming but it used to be a unique game with realistic lighting mod that just made space less of a console filter with skybox i seen enough and i played before planet update was even a thing

If you buy, I would recommend NOT getting the DLC's until you have completed the first three regions. The game feels the most rewarding and gives the best experience when beating the base game without any of the DLC trucks or special tires. Some early DLC regions will also be a bit hellish if you don't properly learn the mechanics of the game early on.
