I love my Larivée! It takes a few years for the guitar to settle into itself; the sound actually improves with time.

The Carbon is one of those pedals that made me really mad. I don’t know if mine was faulty, but no matter which setting, it would not saturate. It was always a clean boost.

Just my opinion as an x owner of the lightspeed.BORING,MUCH LIJE THE TUMNUS AND THAT JACKSON SILVERTONE PAPERWEIGHT .ITS ALL HYPE ON THE LIGHTSPEED IN FACT ON GREER IN GENERAL....BUT AS ALWAYS THE BROWNE PROTEIN DRIVE HAS YET TO BE BEATEN.THE BEST DUAL GOING...AS FOR THE OTHER MUCH BETTER OUT THERE FOR LESS BANK.TRY THE JSA "HOT TODDY"MUCH MORE PEDAL FOR LESS.

I have an LL6M A.R.E. that I got used last year. I also just got an LS6 that I got used in March. The custom model here is amazing.

Nice comparison. I’ve owned both at different times. I liked the Greer but I love and still own the Carbon. Just a great always on tone for me. Clean and a bit of that “jangly” BB thing, not overly bright, but sounds like it’s been balanced just right to my ears.

The vintage white looks way better here than it does on the Guild website. It looks too ivory on there. I can't decide between the white and black. White if it looks more like actual white but it's not looking to be the case.

What a great version of The Two Of Us. Love it! I really enjoyed that. I see that Simon is playing a Moonbird. I just got mine yesterday from Tapestry Music in White Rock. It’s a terrific instrument. One of these days I’ll come to BC and visit them in person. BC is so lucky to have the Langley Uke program.

The C10 obviously sounds better. The C12 costs more but a higher price doesn’t always equal a better sound

If your tuning slide can fall out turning the bell up, you have a serious problem with your trombone.

They sound almost identical. I could not hear the difference if I had to pick them out in a line up.

Nice playing. I’m completely new to classical but to my ears the C12 sounded more articulate and slightly fuller. Not a huge difference though. Nice guitars. Thanks for the comparison

Thank you for this great video! As a beginner (try teaching it myself) it's difficult to produce the different natural tones. About oiling and greasing; do I have to remove oil and grease brought on the day before first, before I put new oil/grease on? Or just put new oil on the pistons over the oil what is left? I guess old grease to remove before bringing on new grease?
