Great video. Thank you very much for the excellent explanation. What I'm missing... I would like to know how I can manage to record 3 cameras separately and 2 audio tracks. So, in the end, I have 3 videos (close-up of Person 1, close-up of Person 2, wide shot) and 2 audio tracks (microphone of Person 1 and microphone of Person 2). Can someone explain this in more detail? Is this even feasible? I would appreciate a detailed tutorial. So far, I haven't found anything on this topic. Best regards Basti

Awesome, and to see how it has been setup! 🤩 I really like the remote production. 🔥 Has anyone set up and used PTZ remotely controlled cameras for remote production? 🤔 Being able to remote control cameras and maybe only have one or two hands-and-feet on-site. Is the connection to the remote control room using VPN connections or how has that been setup? Again, thank you for sharing.

I actually had thought my laptop wasn't up to the task for Vmix even though it's been working with ease with OBS. I have been trying to get Vmix to have smooth srt, nda and rtsp footage and was blaming the laptop but turns out Vmix simply doesn't like pal settings. When I try 25 0or 50fps pal, the video is choppy. When I set my base framerate to 30 and the input to 30 ntsc, it's smooth. I don't like using 30fps because it doesn't match my cameras. When I set to pal and try to restart Vmix when it prompts me, it freezes and I need to force close the program. I hope these things can be looked at. I really want to use the program but so far the cons are outweighing the pro's and OBS just works.

Amigo tudo bem? estou precisando criar um plugin para atualizar a cada 10min altuns imputs automaticamente... sendo eles webbrouser do vmix, um srt e um ndi... tenho um problema de cairem constantemente devido a usar um pc remoto para mandar sinal. ai a conexao das maquinas volta mas o input so volta se clicar com botao direito e atualizar.... sabe me informar aonde encontro a base para desenvolver esse script de atualizar automatico?

Glad to hear you are working with qualcomm! Just ordered a Microsoft laptop with the elite-x, and will report back. I have an unusual case, where we need a very long running, power efficient laptop that can not be powered up front, to capture and stream (3) Mevo Core cameras we will place in NDI mode. We currently use the Mevo Multi-Cam app, and an iPAD, which works, but lacks SO MUCH compared to our beloved vMix 4k! Will update this in a week or two. We are intending to concurrent stream to two sites, at 1080P/30, limited number of inputs, so with a 32 or 64GB machine, we hope this will work in our corporate environment. We are running these shows regionally, so we will also have NDI Tools and NDI Bridge/Remote on the laptop. Interesting use case!

As an AJA product owner, including Kona4 and Cion camera, yes, they're a pain, mostly because the company has always been Apple-Centric, including following Apples price setting examples of "Make it even more expensive". The products themselves are fantastic and super reliable, but the company has some dumb ways of doing things. Continued support in vMix of Kona3G and Kona4 is VERY much appreciated. Edit: 4K60p is a lot of load? Try capturing DCI 4K Uncompressed Raw at 120fps! -> Cion + Kona4 +NVMe Raid Array in Raid zero. :D

Iriun Camera is a good alternative to Larix Broadcaster. It requires a PC server software to be installed, it comes into vMix like a USB Camera/Capture Card but the latency is low and can bring in up to 4 cameras, and last I checked it works fine in vMix.

It would be great to have a bitrate meter down the bottom like the cpu monitor to monitor the bitrate. I know there is a streaming status box but a simple number would be handy.

i'm working a karaoke contest, and am using data sources for my lower thirds, got like 100 of them lol. it allows me to not have to worry about any name changes or no shows. the event production manager can edit the sheet then print them off for everyone else that needs the same data
