Literally just fired up the Variable Bandwidth Filter… haven’t even calibrated it. Just ran a 50% pulse info it and did some simple sweeps and modulations from the Dual Slopes Compact and VC Filter/Oscillator. Quick demo of Pan/Fade. First is VC pan control of the in coming signal, second is the VC crossfade between two incoming signals. The one mistake I made was the toggle switch is rotated incorrectly. 3 waveforms from the new VCO2 prototype mixed in a Mix Pro module, then sent to ‘73 Filter. Output of filter to speaker (sorry for phone mic). SQ-1 sequencing VCO pitch, negative slope’s Fall time CV and Filter cutoff. Negative Slope also modulating filter cutoff. No VCA’s were harmed in this patch. Prototype type boards came in and I couldn’t resist building one up at the end of the day. A board rev needs to be made. I completely forgot to condition the newly added Saw and Double Saw (DUO) outputs so they are 0-5V and not /-5V. Finished up the paperface phaser today. Had one last revision to get done on the I/O board. This now runs off NSL-32’s for the vactrols instead of the 5C3/2’s which are becoming much harder to find. Gah, I need to build mine. PCBs and panel have been on my desk for months and months. Trying to decide if I want to build it standalone or in a R*S 4x4 boat. I didn't realize the panel was a 8x4 when I got the bits. Thanks for sharing!
I designed this panel to fit an off the shelf bud boat. To me it’s better to keep this on its own.
you're doing that the hard way. Just get the dip tip for your JBC or off-brand soldering iron. Literally 2 seconds and the whole thing will be off.
