What is a good price for something like this? 600-650?
What was the unloader? The website is down, so I can't view it :)
How is the Predator 8GPM Setup with AR Pump and Gear Drive working out for you? Has it given you any issues?
Do you have the video of how you build it pls
Do u have a video on the building of the while system pressure washer)? Thanks
Nice build, Where can I get a skid(frame) for a build like that..?
W here s buffer tank😢
Remove red cap immediately replace with yellow
😮
Honda makes this Predator engine for Harbor Freight exclusively. My buddy is in management for HF and he told me. That's why the Predator line is so reliable.
Thank you Garrett for your video..I was needing to upgrade the Honda 4000psi 4gpm it was getting the job done but it not allowing me get in an out of easy jobs time wise..I was stuck between the Honda 690 & the Predator 670..you’re absolutely correct why spend 5k when you can get the Predator for less than 3k..I am changing my trailer set up a bit but I am looking forward to getting it on the road..the machine arrived last week super excited will keep u posted..from the 305 ✌🏽
Hows this build holding up?
Do you have the build list? Looking into building one asap and curious on what all I’ll need. Thanks
After half a year how is it doing? Can you run it at 3/4 throttle to get it to 8fpm instead of 10? And if so will that lower the PSI as well? Thanks
What type of gun did you use sir
Great Video! One thing I'm curious about. What's the benefits with going with a gear drive rather than a belt drive?
Garrett, are you the Glover I talk up one side and down the other at Newton C.? I been watching this video for the past few months and I didn’t even realize it was you till I saw the name and area code.
Yessir that’s me
Great video! How is this machine been running?
Just wanted to say, I just built this following your links and this video for reference, it works great. Thanks ! Subbed and liked
Where did you purchase your Predator from?
@@coff2x508 Those engines are at Harbor Freight.

Hi, is there any reason you chose that particular unloader? Is it just the one you prefer? Thanks.
Just been working well, I’ve used a few different ones but this one is holding up.
how's this build holding up?
Great so far. @ 157 hours. No power dips or issues running 7-9 hours without turning it off.
That’s great! How has it been performing? I’ve been wanting to do this build also
Great so far. @ 157 hours with no issues at all. No power dips or issues with long run times.
You need to immediately remove that red top oil plug on the tsf2021 and install the proper yellow cap oil dipstick that is vented or you will blow seals! I run a tsf2021 with a duramax 454 cc engine with an rs500 gearbox only cost around 1600 to build. It’s a beast makes money all day long. If you don’t believe me on the red cap call general pump it is only meant for shipping to not leak oil. Also change oil after first 50 hour break in period than every 500 hours or 6 months
I’m not saying you’re wrong, and I know this comment was made a year ago but I just hit 2800 hours on my 2020 gx690 with the original tsf2021 and I still have the red plug on it 😂 my other pump has the yellow dick stick installed and it just took a dump at 2100 hours.
@@brianstock4215 and there goes your warranty......
Nice job. Please keep us posted on the setup
Haha they need a new driveway
Hope it works well...but I wouldn't have that Predator...it will never last like the Honda. I have never had a single issue with my GX690's. If you build the unit with a Honda, like you did with the Predator, there is only about 700 dollars difference in price...the Predator is false economy or at least it is for me. Your pricing of 5000 for the Honda unit is for buying the completed unit.
Problem was none of the $1,799 bare motors were in stock. Just $2,500 & up. Worth a shot given the warranty. I never saw myself doing it but worst case scenario I can swap it over to a Honda in the future.
Everyone who knocks the predator just doesn't know how to work on engines or maintain them and need the honda to baby them. Guys in the predator owners group are ready to throw it out over a clogged fuel line.
If you buy the 2 year warranty with the predator you can take it back no questions asked and get a new motor. Renew the warranty and get another 2 years. If you have mechanical ability the predator is great but if not honda works. I have lots of equipment with 5-6hp motors and I cannot tell any difference between the predator and the honda as far as performance. I do swap the air filter on the predator for a honda air filter but I have lots of parts laying around.
@@pavermakeover I have mechanical experience...I don't want to work on my equipment and I don't want problems with it on jobs. I will pay the extra for the Honda and make money while Predator owners are working on their machines. We are not talking about a lot of money difference in the price...in the grand scheme of things, a few hundred dollars for a rock solid and reliable engine is nothing to sweat. Commercial equipment gets commercial results.
@@jimmywarren6685 I have been in the landscape and hardscape business 33 years. Lots of small engines in my shop. They all have problems including my Honda motors. I can count at least 10 Honda motors on machines right now. In my experience two is one and one is none. I keep 2 of everything I need because they all break even the Honda motors.
🎉
yo me encuentro el ecuador quiero instalar para motor de agua con bote
How many gallons of SH did u use on this roof..?
It’s been a while for this one but a roof this size on average would be 5-7 gallons depending on how strong of a mix is needed.
Do you have a pic or video of the machine u are using
@@Gokywildcats11 it’s just an everflo 5.5gpm electric pump

Going on 3rd year with my predator .
What gear drive is that.
That's pretty RAD brother. I think I'm going to build a set up similar to this. I also dig the hour meter. Good call. And great video. Thanks for the info.
Great job. Was the hour meter hard to setup?
Not at all. You just wrap the supplied wire around your plug wire 3-5 times and then mount the meter where you’d like it.
@@garrettglover1776 Thank you Garrett!
Where did you find the stabilizer mount for the pump?
Manatee pressure washer supply. They sell the skid & pump support as individual pieces
Can I use a more powerful pump like 4000 psi with the engine
Yes. Depending on your use the volume is a bigger factor. 8 @ 3600 is pretty much ideal for all uses.
@Garrett Glover thank you so much foe the input
Damn that is the worst driveway I’ve ever seen. Great job cleaning it up and the brick looks excellent!
Can you do a demo?
thanks for the the build links
I have had mine for 2 years . I have a hot water setup . No issues
Nice 👍
Nice 👍
Thank You, I am looking to get into the business, and I am really curious if it works as good as the Honda.
Great video! Been needing this. So how much stronger is this than the 4400 psi pressure washer?
If you’re referring to the harbor freight pressure washer it’s going to have more rinsing power and reach than the 4400 psi due to the volume of water. This one’s definitely more capable in all aspects of using it for day to day work
Nice man, that a dream rig.
Have you ever had issues with leaks from the bulkhead on your sh tank? I’m thinking about adding a bulkhead at the bottom of my tank but I have heard leaking is a known problem
In 5 years I’ve had it like that I’ve changed out 1 bulkhead. Just make sure you get a quality one. That’ll be the difference
Really excellent results
How many GPMs?
8gpm. Heat capable but not running in video.
Does Georgia have a license requirement for pressure washing?
I’m not sure but I believe if you do washing only you don’t have to. On the other hand most people would like you to be licensed and insured. I mainly do commercial so I have a large policy through my state license.
@@garrettglover1776 I’m not sure how to get a license for pressure washing. I have my business id number and insurance policy number but can’t find anything about getting licensed
@@Johnnyreengo I don’t believe there’s a specific license for pressure washing. A general business license should suffice.
@@garrettglover1776 that’s the part that confuses me. If an electrician did the same and created a business and got insurance, would he be a “licensed electrician”? I don’t think having a business entity number, and being licensed are the same thing.
@@Johnnyreengo there’s nothing like that for pressure washing. There’s classes and conventions people host but nothing that makes you a “licensed pressure washer”. Licensed and insured just lets people know it’s what you do for a living and your on record with your business.
Honestly seems like a nightmare with some of the tight neighborhoods I deal with.
I live in a southern rural / not so crowded city. Most houses sit on .25 acres and have driveways 100-250 foot. Definitely wouldn’t have this in a big city / populated area.
