Oh man sad to say but today's social trendies are racing as far to the opposite side from where this man is coming from. As much as I appreciate him it's bitter to think how American society it's wiping these honorable qualities off the map of desirable character.

Valentino seems like a nice fellow but he romanticizes an automobile which to me is a poorly engineered gaudy money pit. The car is ridiculous to me. He even admits it is a constant challenge between the power of the car and the driver. Thank you no.

Nothing will ever replace the Countach. Ever. It was, and is it's own category.

A beautiful video filmed immediately post-restoration in 2017. This car, chassis no. GLA12997 was built in April, 1986 to one-off specification for the CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Patrick Mimran. It was finished in 'Bordeaux Speciale' (special Bordeaux) with 'Panna' interior (milk white) and it was faithfully, with no-expense spared restored by Joe Sackey to exact specifications. Valentino Balboni, famed Lamborghini test-driver for the factory from 1967 - 2007 did Joe the honor of test-driving this immediately post-restoration. Valentino recalls his first test drive for Patrick Mimran, in April, 1986. This was filmed on the open roads and beautiful scenery in Fallbrook, California. The car now lives in a European collection alongside Ferruccio Lamborghini's personal Countach LP400S. Joe Sackey was the owner of GLA12997 at the time of this film, and in late 2021, Joe Sackey Classics sold the car to a very thankful VIP client.
