@11:08 How did you stitch so much in 3 hours? I get about 100 an hour if it's not confetti stitching. A 'How I Stitch' tips video would be awesome.
Looks like you had so much fun! Lovely stitching, too! 💜
Very hard to hear you lisa
🚢Love love love seeing you in person together! Jenny we will have to SAL the day in Paris, in Autumn! 🍁🗼🍂Thank you for the shout out too! 💕
I haven’t done scattergories in a few months but listening to the video had me thinking about several WIPs that would work this month - thanks for the inspiration!
Designer Vivsters
I loveeeeee the raining love pattern
Or the torres straight island flag aboriginal flag and Māori flag
I’d love an Anzac version like maybe the Australian 🇦🇺 the Aboriginal flag and the New Zealand 🇳🇿
Snowflakes are ice crystals
Great WIPS as always - you really knock out some stitches! Love the new start Christmas 🎄, but seriously struggled with the side- on view….which I suspect was unintentional!
look forward to the vlog style.
Hi Lisa. I liked that you could see the stitches well on the new format but the sideways was doing my head in! Thanks for the update.
Nice to see you ladies - I think you might have missed Rho's Crafty Corner - they're a duo that usually film together in person (I think they're from Brisbane). Oooh - I just got the Designworks 12 days of Christmas too - I might need to start it too (but need to finish something first because I'm at my 24 WIPs). Although I also have the Dimensions Advent Calendar waiting - too many lovely projects and not enough time! Interesting about your Daiso bags - mine are navy and light blue (at the zip & the little tab at the side) with clear sides.
I loved your Mira 2024 retreat Flosstube.I was truly impressed. I started watching your others. I live in the USA so we will have to start giving you shout outs so other stitchers can enjoy your stitchy kindness and tips. Also I tried to find the Nora patron your friend suggested but I don’t think I was at the correct place when I typed it into Google. Please send me a link so I can join. Her tree was truly inspiring, I want to stitch it.Thank You so very much.
pattern for Y: I have Yin Yang by Stitchrovia ;)
Thanks for the wonderful weekend!
A great recap of the weekend. Lots of new friends and lots of motivation to stitch! x
Awww you chose my stitch as your thumbnail! 😍😍 what a great summary of the retreat - I felt like I was there with you. Congratulations on another wonderful weekend.
Thanks for another fantastic retreat weekend, I will definitely be back again next year. I will have to drive again so I can fit in all my purchases!!😂 See you again soon Teri
Thanks for having me on the episode! I had the nicest weekend 😊
i did a wip maynia. different one each day. not my cup of tea. usually i like to get at least 1,000 stitches in before switching.
Lisa, your sound is crackling when you speak louder. I think your mic needs to be turned down or something? An eg is at 0:50
Thankyou
Great video
Thanks for sharing Lisa - pity it was really hard to hear you a lot of the time. I think you were asking about which designs to do conversions for - I think a lot of the Plum Streets would be good in CGT, as well as The Blue Flower (I know they have done some in them, but others would also work well). The seasonal quakers by Lila's Studio would look great in Silks 4 U (but I think they have a lot of colours, so might be quite expensive)
Thank you for a very informative Flosstube episode. The Mirabilia retreat looks like so much fun, I would love to attend next time so I'll have to put that in the plans for sure as I just bought my first Mirabilia last week & can't wait to start her. Thank you for sharing more Australian Flosstubers as I have been searching for them & couldn't understand why they weren't coming up. Now I know. Keep up the great work & really looking forward to watching your LNS road trip.
Nice to see you ladies, even with only a small amount of stitching for Jenny (but heaps for you, Lisa!). What about Forest Glade for that fabric?
Name ideas: "Desert Dreaming" (As if the desert is dreaming of green grass), "Country Mist" (As it's a soft colourway with natural colours) I might not be seeing the colourway properly, hopefully they fit.
Hi ladies, Are you using any gentle arts threads for a designer??
Hi. I’m slowly buying a supply of them for consideration- it’s just an expensive venture for designing!
Galleon - Lisa I think that's what your ship is.
Patchy Pony listed you in her video description and I came to visit and found that I’m already following you! ❤
Fantastic- hopefully you’ll love us again :) and keep coming back. So glad Mel did her Aussie focus video
Great stitching progress! Have fun at the retreat! 💜 - Connie
I feel like I have a case of dejavu. I think you may have posted this before?
Yes, but it had an audio issue, so this is the fixed version
Another great video Lisa. Love seeing all your WIPS come together.
Would Love to be going to Tassie enjoy it ❤
Another great month of suggestions! Thanks for including my I Spy 😀
Thank you so much for the kind words! We look forward to your tutorials - that will be so much fun!
It looks like you are having a great time on the cruise! Thanks for sharing a little bit of it with us!
It looks like so much fun! I'm a little jealous! I will look forward to being able to do some of those fun extra stitchy things in a few years when my children are grown. 😊 I hope you have a wonderful time on the cruise! 🎉
Have a wonderful time , you beautiful people xx
I surely hope, with 4, 769 (~681 stitches a day), that you are not one of the pace cars for the Road Trip......
I am. But on the Mobile Home level. There is a pace car for each level :)
Have a great time
Loved seeing your stitching. OMG the cruise sounds amazing. I so did not know about the Aussie stitchy boxes. Since the Mira retreat my online stitchy world has so expanded.
Have a great time on your cruise. Thanks for sharing my Mermaid Stitchy Box. I really appreciate it.
have fun on the cruise!
I enjoyed seeing all the progress that you made on your projects. It's soooo nice when we get the time to stitch what we want to, isn't it?! I'm hoping that my time is coming soon. 😉 Enjoy your cruise, it sounds like a blast, and how wonderful that you are the featured designer for it!!! 🎉
Enjoy the cruise! It sounds like it will be a heap of fun. The stitchy box looks awesome. I'll have to keep an eye out for when Narelle does another one.
You’ve made some great progress on your projects - they look fantastic! I hope you have the best time on your cruise and I’m looking forward to seeing your adventures.
Great overview of the retreat, so jealous I didn't go. Thanks for introducing me to some more Aussie Flosstubers. Also love your fabrics!
The American who did not know what a fortnight was is a sad case and they obviously have not read any good historical novels. Most of the time those of us in the U.S. just say two weeks. American English has been evolving separately from British English for over 250 years. That's why we use “elevators” instead of “lifts”, “trucks” instead of “lorries”, and “diapers” instead of “nappies”; why our car engines are under a “hood” instead of a “bonnet” and we stow our things in the “trunk”, not the “boot”; why we rent “apartments” instead of “flats”, our senior citizens are usually called “retirees” rather than “pensioners”, and we would never call a “cigarette” a “fag”. I lived in Texas several years and never heard someone saying they were cooking in hot grease. I would call that frying! I love language and its idiosyncrasies - not matter what country. And, I love the two of you and happy that you share your stitching lives. I live in the state of Wisconsin in the U.S.
