You guys are already in 2026 ? How does the future look like ? 😉
@@francoismassin8649 Yes, 2026 is looking ok, had to return however to the present travels amist lots of fires and 100+ F temps in the NW USA… We are leaving Idaho for Utah tomorrow and hopefully back to a normal climate. Thanks for catching the 2026 title, I really like the future though.
@@somewherecamping Stay safe you two, I'd like to follow your adventures in the coming years 😀
Your video brought me down memory lane ❤ Since you’re there keep going to Neah bay.
I used to live in WS absolutely beautiful. Lived out on a lake on the Pugent Sound ❤
Love it

I am almost 61, spent my early childhood summer nights, watching Disneyland fireworks, alone while hanging on my backyard fence. 4th of July all Summer! Very nice memories brought back, those fireworks there reminded me!
Prayers and upmost gratitude for all the lost/fallen firefighters. Much is learned, safety wise, from all firefighter tragedies.
Breath taking ❤
Thank you all so much for posting. We want to move there next year for retirement. God bless❤
Well done!
Appreciate that you posted this video Love it It reminds me of the trip I was there 2 weeks ago
How was Taft Point? Was the fall pretty far?
The reason why they are so cautious about advising against crossing creeks, even these small ones, is because unfortunately water is difficult to judge from the surface. I used to have a landlord in Colorado, she was so smart and she loved the outdoors. She was in the passenger seat of her boyfriend's jeep one day, on the border of Colorado and Utah, it is very remote with vast mountain, hill and desert. Her boyfriend drove the jeep across what he thought was a creek, he was able to escape the current, but she unfortunately did not. So please, always use caution when crossing water on a roadway.
Spectacular views! Thank you for all your wonderful videos of the beautiful places you visit. California's hidden gems.
That was a great hike. Even though it cost a lot and seemed like a “tourist” trap it was well worth it to me. Loved the ‘overhead bridges” and the gondolas, carvings. I thought it was fun.
Super video! We were there Memorial weekend 2024.. Very cool song 👍🏻
Northern California Big Red Woods is so beautiful. Have you been to the Muir Woods in Northern California? Absolutely beautiful. Hugh red wood trees. It has several trails you can walk forever in there. There are bench seats you can take a rest. All kinds of wild life in there. Has a restaurant and gift shop. Really you can spend all day in there. Well worth experiencing it.
Yes, we just recently visited Muir Woods and it was really beautiful, we have video on it.czcams.com/video/X9qaIfg_iss/video.htmlsi=NcAnV9Oe2p0Bj_Ar
@@somewherecamping Thank you, I'll check out your video 😊
Love NM
I think those were California poppies the state flower and that may be what is called a monkey tree. One of these days I want to download one of those plant identification apps.
Awesome Possum!
Brought back many memories of growing up in CA and visiting the redwoods with my folks
Thank you so much for this!
I do love all the boat horns i hear throughout the day here in Ludington ❤
I live here. Found this random video. Funny to watch people visit who dont know anything.
You guys are awesome, what i inspire to be when i am your guys age!
Went to the barbecue place really good barbecue.
How long was your drive.
I really appreciate your channel. My mother's family first arrived in California around 1908, via train from Canada into Idaho and down to Fresno. I wish I could go back in time to ask my grandmother and great aunt about what it was like to make that journey as kids. It must have been beautiful scenery along the way. My mom was born in 1930, her parents were early house flippers, so they would move into a cheap house for a year of so while they renovated it. Mom got to grow up living in Pasadena, Santa Barbara, Solvang, Laguna Beach and Balboa. Her sister married and lived in San Francisco. I left California for good back in 1995, I enjoy watching your channel because I had forgotten about some of the places you visit, when my mother would take me to on road trips back in the 1980's. Such memories, you two enjoy visiting the same areas and scenery that my mom always enjoyed.
Happy BDay Sir. You surely enjoyed the day🙂
So refreshing to hear the crashing of the waves.
Looks like fun!
I visited the castle as a newly wed almost to the day, 50 years ago! Thank you for sharing. We left CA and moved to Maui in '78, then to the Big Island for 18 years, then to NZ almost 14 years ago. I am delightedly in anticipation with where you will take us next!
Thankyou for your video!! My day there was one of my favorite days ever. I did every tour they offered. That was many years ago now. I wanna go back and repeat everything I did. In my opinion Hearst and Julia Morgan created heaven on earth. Thankyou for resparking my memories.
Hill Billies welcome
"Griswolds" too
Know Ventura like the back of my hand, did not know this place existed.
Awesome!
He should have given Hunter Biden some lessons.

Would like to get there before my time is up.
Full self-driving has come such a long way
I was at ft riley, just up the road, so to speak. This was back in the 60's
I really like this place 😊
We just got gift certs for the Platinum dinner car from one of our children. Very excited. We live in North central Mass so we hit the Cape 8-10 times a year even if it's just for a weekend, but we've never tried the rails. Your video helped us get a glimpse of what to expect so thank you for that. The North Conway Railroad also has a wonderful 3-4 hr ride with the dining option also.
Time travelers? This is what Mexico will look like next year. 👍
hello MEXICO
where are the kids hiding ?
Your drone footage is the best I’ve been able to find as I’m trying to figure out what self parking is like at this resort. Can self parking people park in that horseshoe area or are there other parking lots to the side? Wondering how hard it is to walk from the self parking spaces😄
It's been a while but we did not have any problem with parking and walking to hotel
Your motorhome is gorgeous Thanks for the walk
