By all means, cast this show with diversity; the script even says as much because "Shakespeare is for everyone." But Emilia Bassano's heritage isn't 100% known. Her father was Italian and some sources say she was also Jewish or Moroccan, but we'll probably never know for sure whether she was Black so the accusations of whitewashing aren't entirely warranted. I'm more perturbed that this actress is blond when the script refers to her as the Dark Lady multiple times and specifically says she has dark hair. How hard can it be to get a decent wig or some dye?

Looking up the soundtrack, it's disappointing that the opening theme song isn't a cover of the iconic TV show theme song. What the hell is it with modern adaptations not having covers of the classic theme song!? It's so iconic that it has become synonymous with the franchise as a whole. It wasn't in the movies nor the Disney+ show. We're in an age where Hollywood shoves in as much fanservice as possible to cash in on nostalgia, the theme song is so iconic that people were begging for it to be in the movie. At least the movie had the great Danny Elfman composing the soundtrack and the film's theme was nostalgic and catchy even if it wasn't the classic theme song, the Disney+ series doesn't have that luxury. If The Living Tombstone's FNAF song can make its way into the movie, then I'm pretty sure that Disney can do the same with Goosebumps. Hell, the original show was a Fox production, so they would clearly have the rights for it (I know that technically the Disney+ series is really a Sony production like the movie was, but still, how hard is it to include something so iconic if you're still gonna have fanservice for everything else anyway!?).

My class went to see this musical with these actors and we got there and got front row seats and the whole time my friends and I sang the songs and the actors looked at us during the musical and at the end when they were finished with questions and they were walking off they said something about it being fun when the audience knew the words and my friends and I were so happy❤ Btw our class loved Ms. Judy❤
