Acts 3 likely refers to the Messianic Era, or “the Days of Messiah” as in rabbinic literature (ימות המשיח yemot ha-mmashiaḥ). This is the time between now and the World to Come when the Messiah comes to dwell in and rule from Jerusalem and the time when nations will finally live in peace with each other and when all the nations will go up to Jerusalem every year to celebrate the Festival of Sukkot (Zech 14), etc., the age of restoration and refreshment, leading the Creation into the ʿolam ha-bba (העולם הבא, “the World to Come”). This is the same period John speaks of in Revelation which is the 1,000 years of Messiah’s reign prior to the New Heavens and New Earth. This is standard Jewish eschatology, and also New Testament eschatology. We must not neglect the Kingdom in our eschatological conceptions. It is absolutely central to Jesus’ gospel message.

What I don’t understand is, why can’t Jackie, being a woman, can not be a pastor if God is calling her. I understand what the bible said, but in the end, it’s God calling her not us. So I believe she has the potential to be a pastor, because her sermon was really good, and she makes it so easy that you understand it.

I love God for what He has done in my life. I am blessed because thousands died so that I may have the Bible to read the very words of Christ.

I sat under Dr Allender in seminary until he left and they cancelled the biblical counseling program...still to this day there are professors who claim the program was not biblical...yet what has Dan done w his life...only reach out to the most abused. I will tell you this, some of the WORST counselors I've had were pastors or those so committed to biblical accuracy and correct doctrine. Yes, this can be confusing. What is worse, there are those who accuse Allender for being too "psychological" and not biblical. God is judge...there will be a lot of surprises in Heaven.

I know this is old but I missed how the fall affects us now. He seems to just show how he feels certain things are bad and before that he spoke about how Adam spoke to God. But IDK if he ever really discusses how the fall affect shame, etc.
