Traxxas TRX4 Sport RC trailing
While at Cote Ghyll camping site we took to the Beckside walk with the TRX4 sport for a little bit of RC trailing with the family joining me.

Do you really need a Traxxas TRX4? I think this is more than enough with its 2 speed, locking diffs, switch to FWD and a dig function. Do you get all that on a TRX4? No. I’m not here to bash TRX4’s. I personally own a Sport. But this is actually better and I love my sport.

I've just bought a Lancia 037 TA-02S never ran shelf queen off Ebay for £120.. I don't know how old it is, I hope the plastics haven't gotten brittle. The only problem I have with it is the colour, the owner has painted it in a metallic blue, which is actually my favourite colour but it really needs to be done in the Martini livery. @@alantaylor353 thank you 🙏 Plastics should be fine I think. I’ve actually just helped a friend get a 30 year Tamiya FF01 back up and running and the plastics were fine

Hi! How did you mount shocks on the axles? Are those stock axles? Thanks
The axle set is WPL’s upgraded metal axle set. You can buy these direct from WPL’s website. The shocks come with mounting points that attach to the chassis. I also bought a wpl d12 shock set that has a mount that goes on the axle

Great vid! Do the wpl have wider track? I mean tires are placed wider? Or same as mn99?
Hey chaps are they both 1:12?
The MN is 1/12. The wpl is 1/16
The MN needs wheel weights to lower the CG and reduce the flip overs. I did mine by winding 2 layers of soldering wire around each rim.

I just saw a video where a guy mentions you can direct fit mn99s electronics into the wpl, without any soldering or cutting wires.
