You find this grabs more than the ez tee hybrid? I’m between the two options for a back yard set up. Being Canadian I’m leaning the ez tee but got scared that it wouldn’t be friendly enough on the joints from some reviews. I am leaning toward putting down a 1/2 inch rubber mat underneath the EZ tee as a bit of a best of both worlds, given how prestigious the ez tee is in terms of country clubs and simulator installs.
I don’t use the bullseye at all anymore. It’s more like CCE for me. I went back to EZ Tee and it’s so much better. I suppose putting a thin mat under will help but I don’t have any joint issues with it laying directly on the cement floor in my garage.
Awesome thank you, ez tee it is! Saved me from wasting money I appreciate that
It's a fictional course, i'm pretty sure. Not sure if the US would allow you to pave way for a golf course in a national park haha! Great set up mate :)
My holy grail lasted like a week, garbage
❤
Thanks for the review, seems like the ball fits you very well! 👌🔥⛳️🏌♂️
wooohoooo
I have played a new course someone created and I swear that the course software causes miss reads and creates a bigger slice then normal
Looking back at this, it was coming from my launch monitor software. QED used to have issues reading really high spin shots and I was spinning these over 13K. So it was giving me garbage numbers on the first two. Since Uneekor moved us over to View from Ignite, it looks like they have fixed that issue as I don't get those weird misreads. As for course causing it....not sure as GSPro takes data from the LM and then applies its algos which are generally pretty close. Maybe a course has a bad collider or something. I mean I have seen some funky shots when playing that I do not hit in real life but I keep my LM software open and can compare ball flight. If it looks weird in GSPro, it usually looks the same in my LM software so I think, at least for me, it is still my LM giving the bad data.
Very nice view from behind, now I got a better grip on your sim and how it is build.. Thinking of doing something like yours, but a bit wider screen. Love to see when you get around to change it and how it will look then.. Maybe some build vids of it. 😊
It is hard to see in the video but the screen is about 9 feet wide. It is hung sideways rather than widescreen as it was the best way for me to get the sim setup originally. I can take everyhting down in 5 minutes to store it if needed. The remake will likely be an electric screen with fold out side protection and possibly going the other direction in my garage towards my front doors. We will see. Need warm weather so I can clean it out and properly plan. I may even consider 4K when I do this.
You can adjust the stomp if you ever play again
Lots of F bombs that round.
lol. I blame the guy who runs the league.
congrats !
Letssss gooooo.. i am so happy that i got to see the hole in one. I have been watching a long time. Way to go. So proud of you
What a gr8 HiO. Love your reaction.. Big congratulations.. Take care buddy.. Br Tomas
Way to battle back after a tough 1st hole. I like your grit and fight. Never give up..
Congrats my friend on a gr8 round. Best round in a long time, looks like the club change has worked out for you too If you still playing with your older clubs. 😊.
Thank you! Yes. Still using my older clubs. Callaway X Tour from 2006. They just seem to be more consistent and forgiving than my titleist and hogan clubs. Not sure what made me move away from them years ago. Will see how they do back on the course when things open here. Giving me a sense of hope that my game isn’t as bad as I thought!
You mentioned at start of video about the Holy Grail mat being too forgiving...I thought the same thing. I actually ripped out the 1" foam strips under the mat & replaced them with another firmer foam strip & now it's so much better.
Thank you. I might try something like that as well. I’ve gone back to my ez tee for now. While it’s worn out, it’s still better than the bullseye or holy grail in its normal state. I’ve seen a lot of people make their own so maybe I’ll try and find some decent turf that can be used. But like your idea of replacing the foam. Time to shop. lol.
What mat did you settle on?
Are you still using the EZ Tee Hybrid hitting mat? If so, how do the putts roll off of it?
Yes I am. I alternate between that and Holy Grail. The putting on the EZ Tee is fine for me as I have a Uneekor system and it only needs like 4 inches of roll to be picked up. If you need longer putts with something like a Mevo* then it may not be the best. Like all mats, they do wear down over time and you may get indents in the turf so have to keep and eye on it.
Thanks for the reply! Are you using the Holy Grail stance mat as well? If so how do they match up as far as height of the EZ Tee Hybrid & Holy Grail stance mat? @@mpkelley20
@@johnkraus5454 no. I’m using stance mats that I got from HD golf when I used their Softstrike. It’s the same height as both holy grail and ez tee. I wanted to try the sigpro mat but that one is higher so I’d have to raise my stance mats before trying it.
This is my old home course I had designed. Great place that plays really hard in person with all the wind. It's not far from Lake Michigan.
I am literally trying to be you in the next few months. Just drinkin in the garage golfin, family fighting in the next room, pissed at my tech. Working on finishing garage now, set up will be similar, even planning on the uneekor qed for launch monitor.
I built mine in March 2020 when everything was shut down. The simulator was a life saver for my mental status. Lol. If you have any questions when building yours, feel free to ask. And good luck with the build!
Lers gooo..That was a working man's round of golf. You earned every shot. Several clutch par putts . That was fun..you will dominate next round..bring it on.
Thanks for the shout out!!! PBRRRRRR 🎉😂
nice setup and videos! i'm jealous, i tried to build similar in my garage and quickly realized my ceiling wasn't high enough :/ one day!
Thanks for doing this test. I was hoping to see better results for the Roxor ball. I'm a little disappointed that it did not perform better. With thousands of QED's sold you would think there would be better marked ball options. There is definitely a market for a premium marked ball. $7K launch monitor that uses 10 cent balls...seems a bit illogical... I'm seriously thinking of upgrading to the Eye XO. Where do you get you stickers from & do you use any special method to put them on the golf balls?
I buy stickers from two places. One is from a guy on the GSPro discord and the other is a guy on Facebook selling them under “Just A Potamus”. Both stickers work well when applied properly. Takes about 2 minutes per ball. To get the pattern right, I use i 3D printed mold my brother in law made for me which allows me to mark where the stickers should go. So I mark them and then place the stickers on. Prior to that I would try and match the pattern as best as I could but I would get more misreads. Since moving to the mold, it’s is almost zero misreads. The 3D mold can be found by googling Uneekor ball 3D mold. It’s a public 3D map that anyone can use. I don’t own a 3D printer so not able to produce them myself.

I first want to truly thank you for giving me the break down of your set up in your last video. That took a lot of time on your part and i really appreciate that. It really helped. Woooo weeeee that course is gorgeous. Your ball striking was really good today. Great putt on 13. I got nervous when you said a tap in for par on 17. Lol we have all been there. The new courses are going to look amazing. I think they redid TPC Scottsdale also. The crowd is in the 16th hole i think. Maybe you can give it a go..keep swinging and thank you.
Thanks. Yes this was an amazing course. And I’ll get to Scottsdale soon. I’m actually going to Scottsdale area in March and playing golf with a client. Haven’t picked a course yet but TPC is one that we are looking at. Hopefully I’ll be playing more sim golf. Just joined a new league run by Virtual Tee Systems. So will need to play those rounds along with my fun rounds and Sgt rounds. Hoping my game comes together by March for the real season.
@@mpkelley20 that sounds like a dream golf trip. I hope you have a blast. Let me know how it goes..maybe you can record some of your tournament rounds from time to time..i appreciate all of your content.
Are you happy with the uneekor as far as accuracy? You don’t seem thrilled with the refine software. Does it work good with gs pro? Any regrets?
Any idea on what a set up like yours runs? I do not like asking those type of questions so if you do not want to disclose that ingormation i completely understand.
No problem. Mine is a garage setup meant to be moveable when I need to park my car there. Usually during snowstorms. So mine might be “cheaper”. But here is the rough rundown 1. Uneekor Qed - $7k although I paid 6k when I bought it. Prices weee raised about 6 months after I bought mine. 2. Very high end gaming desktop - $3k at the time with an i7 and 3080ti gpu. Probably around $2500 these days but can get away with cheaper if you want. 3. Panasonic Projector - $1200. It’s the 3LCD high lumen output long throw. 4. Carls premium screen $750. Technically a 16:10 screen but I have it hung sideways to be more 4:3 5. Side curtains - $150 or so. Custom made by a theater curtain company in Ma. 6. Hitting mats - I have various ones but on average will run $500 or so for stance mats and hitting strips. 7. Overhead led light from Amazon for hitting area. - $30. 8. GSPro software - $250 per year 9. Misc things - also have E6, Creative Golf and Refine but rarely play them. Balls, tees, additional monitors, cables, etc all add to the costs. Along with that, I paid to insulate my garage and added a mini split. So that added a lot to cost. There are other ways of keeping costs down. Mostly on the LM you buy. Skytrak, Mevo+ snd Bushnell Launch Pro will save thousands over the Uneekor systems but what you get really comes down to your needs. I needed an easy way to have LH and RH players play and the overhead unit was best for my setup.
Another great round of golf.. i really enjoy hearing you talk thru your thought process on each shot. I like the straight play through with no editing. Beautiful course. I appreciate the video. Way to battle.
Way to finish strong and battle thru the round. Sonetines our swing is just not clicking but you still battled and fought. BEAUTIFUL COURSE. Whenever i can get my simulator we can play a round. Thank you for the video.
Thanks! Always up for an online round!
Surprised to see you using the TP5 Pix balls...
I was testing it to see how many misreads I would get as So many people were saying they work great now. I can't remember how many misreads I had in this round but I have now played 3 rounds using them and I believe I get around 3 misreads per round on average. So for local play like this, I can just take a mulligan. But still will never use them for a tournament round. Most are on shorter irons but one of the rounds I had misreads with driver and 5 iron along with PW.
@@mpkelley20 We use them currently for local play & once in a while we get a misread usually when the PIX marks start to wear which honestly doesn't take too long. I am eagerly awaiting the balls from Roxor golf that I pre-odered. There is definitely a market for quality balls with the dot pattern.
@@johnkraus5454 Can't wait to see how they work when you get them. If they can be similar to a Vice pro style, and last, they will be perfect. So far the only aftermarket I tried was the Unicorn ball which had issues with it's cover and was not very long.
@@mpkelley20 I will let you know how the new balls from Roxor work out. Hopefully get them in a few weeks.
Way to battle thru a tough round. You still hit some really good shots. That was a beautiful course. Whenever i get my simulator we can play a round together. I really enjoy your videos. You will go low next round.
That was some fine golf..you hit some bombs off the tee with nice shaping when needed...way to go...that was a fun watch.
Ha! Thanks! I just skimmed through this video and it was before I changed my swing and my driver and fairway woods. Funny to see how well I scored here but could barely hit the ball on the course. Now my real game is better but inside I am a wreck! Golf season is almost over so will be back in the sim a lot more. will always be available for an online game if you ever want to play.
That is a fine round of golf. Great putting in my opinion..you scrambled well when you got in trouble with the trees. That was a fun watch..just subscribed.
Welcome back on the air my friend, missed your video. Hope you get rid of the Covid, and recover 100%.

Great video!!! Can’t wait to set up my sim room later this year!!
My headset wasn’t working which is probably good because of so many bad shots. Lol. Amazing how almost 2 weeks of not playing in a sim can affect your game.
Can’t wait to get mine set up. I will be hosting weekly virtual tournaments!!
Great video, just subscribed!! I’ll be doing a build later this year. I just started a channel, hope to be doing simulator videos soon!
Any hitting strips/mats your looking to get rid of/sell?
Not right now. If you look at EZ Tee, you can get a 1x4 strip for under $150 shipped.
Thanks for the Video. I have never seen Creative golf before. Looks pretty good. How much is it and can you play online in tournaments ? Have you played tgc2019 ? Cheers
Yes I’ve owned and played TGC 2019. As well as E6, Refine (Uneekor sim) and GSPro. My top choice is GSPro with creative golf coming in second. I love the course selection and the games I got with golfismo. Total cost for the game, full course library and full golfismo was about $1500 one time. I think they now offer a subscription but don’t know the price. Their website has a buy now option that will tell you the price for everything based on your LM I haven’t played live with anyone online yet but have played the online tournaments. It’s not as active as GSPro or TGC so if online play like tournaments, match play, etc..is what you want then CG is probably not the best. For me, I love the physics, cameras angles, course selection and the games make it really fun with my kids to learn how to swing and play.
@@mpkelley20 thanks for your input and play well !
Hello sir, Have you got another LM?? I see what looks like advanced clubdata, ballstriking on the clubface more. Or is it a plugin for qed? Gr8 vid as always. Take care buddy, Br Tomas
No. That is just that new advanced analytics mode on GSPro connect. When you open GSPro it’s an option to open that screen on the connect app. It’s really only showing the data that qed is capable of showing. Any club face impact data is not actual data. But things like club head speed; angle of clubhead and that stuff is “calculated” my qed so it shows up. I think people with Eye x/o and using stickers will get all the data. So many people were asking for these stats in GSPro (especially clubhead speed) so this is the interim fix until they make it a selectable stat in the boxes you can see in the game.
Ahh okey, thanks for clearing that up. Love from Sweden
Gr8 video, nice with the commentry. Makes the video so much better.. I been missing that on your vidz. Feel so much more alive. How do you like the QED?? Im thinking going that route too. Br Tomas
I love the QED. The marked balls don’t bother me as I use stickers on my own ball and it lasts until the ball cracks. The only stat I wish I had was angle of attack as my downswing is very steep. Been working on that with driver. When I bought my unit, eye x/o was not out yet and I’m doubt I would have dropped another $4k on it back then as qed was only $6k. Price moved to $7k about 4 months later. If I ever need to replace my qed I’d probably go with eye x/o if I can make it work with my setup. I don’t “need” the extra club data but it would be nice to see face impact. I am waiting for the eye mini price to come out as I’d consider getting that for outdoor use and indoor practice where I need a few more club data points. But depends on price really. Overall, qed is probably the best unit out there in that price range and it’s just as accurate as units 3x the price.
How do you like your ez tee hitting strip? Currently have cce mat and it is way too firm and punishing on steep iron/wedge shots
It’s my favorite mat so far. I have CCE, holy grail, Softstrike and EZ Tee. Best way to describe EZ is somewhere between CCE and Holy grail/Softstrike. I get penalized on fat shots, it doesn’t hurt my joints and it doesn’t mess up my real game on course. Softstrike was so easy on joints but when I tried to play golf off grass, I was awful. Holy grail is similar feeling to me so I’ll stick with EZ for at least another year as I just ordered a new 1x4 strip.
Need to increase volume!
I’ve had several videos blocked because of copyright stuff from what I was listening to or watching. Bands like the eagles or watching the pga tour. So I’ve been careful about volume based on what I have on lately.
@@mpkelley20 ok that makes sense
How do you change the number on the top right to ball speed/back spin/side spin. Mine shows different stats? Thanks!
If you click on any of the boxes, there is a drop down that pops up so you can select the stat you want to see. Right now it’s all ball data as club data is not available here. Although I believe club data will be available on the advanced connect app that pops open with GSPro once the new update comes out that adds wind and other things.
Wish i could hit the baby fade that consistent. Good stuff bro
Lose the radio, sorry
Didn’t realize I had the mic up so high. Usually keep it low. And if I play music, videos get tagged with copyright claims. Can’t win on CZcams.
awesome finish 17 & 18
