    Hey when I was refining it with water the cap would not come off and when I pulled the black part of it came off and I unscrewed the bolt then my next use it put the bolt in and turn it on no steam was comeing so I try to unscrew it and it started makeing very loud noise.

      Hi there, thanks for reaching out! As a built-in safety feature, you're unable to remove the cap when the steamer is pressurized. For safety, the cap won't come off until the inside pressure has dropped. When you're done using your steamer, let it cool off for about 30 minutes then pull the trigger to release any pressure left in the hose. This will ensure the steamer is completely cool and depressurized before attempting to open or troubleshoot the cap. Let us know if you need any more troubleshooting tips. We're here to help!

      Hi there! Usually, this can be caused by a buildup of pressure; for safety, the cap won't come off until the inside pressure has dropped. When you're done using your steamer, let it cool off for about 30 minutes then pull the trigger to release any pressure left in the hose. This will ensure the steamer is completely cool and depressurized before attempting to open or troubleshoot the cap. Also, the steamer comes with a child proof locking fill cap. You have to push down hard while twisting it counterclockwise. If you continue to have a problem removing it, please let us know and we are happy to continue help troubleshooting👍

    I think this began as the Homeright PaintStick, which I still have. On mine you must push the fill handle to load paint in the roller, which is jerky so can spurt paint out. The squeeze-handle is likely smoother. Not sure it saves much time overall vs a basic roller and pan. I find it much faster to clean a regular roller by shooting a garden hose jet at it to spin it and sling off the left-over paint. Painting with water-based latex paint is always a hassle since it dries so fast, making cleanup harder, unless painting a small area.

    How can I tell when it's out of water? Will it shut off automatically when out of water? Can it be damaged if left on when out of water?

    • @Wagner-Spraytech
      @Wagner-Spraytech Před 16 dny

      Hi Gary, the steamer will shut off automatically when the water level is low. If the steamer is allowed to run dry, a thermal safety fuse will open, causing the unit to turn off. If this happens, unplug the unit and allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes. The safety fuse will reset itself. We do recommend emptying the tank after each use. To empty the tank, shut the steamer off, pull the trigger to release the pressure, unplug the power cord, and allow the steamer to cool down (it may take 20 minutes). Once it cools down, pull the trigger again to make sure there is no remaining pressure, unscrew the cap, and turn it upside down to pour out any remaining water.

  • @garygullikson6349

    I’m upset!!! I bought the sprayer and spent the money. I watched the videos where they show it working very nice. But like many other people in the comments, the truth is even when I turned, the spray width all the way down to the smallest width possible and slow down the amount of product and even thinned out, my product and strained it and did everything. I’m supposed to do no matter what I still spray way too much product and the stream is extremely wide making a mess all over the place when you paint or lacquer or whatever you’re using out of the tip. Mine also sprays even when you’re not pushing the trigger And setting it up and trying to use it I wasted two days and the same issues keep happening! Including it spraying paint, even when the trigger is not being pushed. I want my money back.!

      Hi there, we're so sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with the FLEXiO 2500. If paint/material is leaking without pulling the trigger, we recommend checking that all parts are aligned and the connecting nut is tight. Before you unscrew any of the parts on the front end you must unplug the sprayer and relieve the pressure by slowly unscrewing the paint container. To avoid overspray, we recommend adjusting the air power based on the thickness of the coating. The thicker the coating, the higher the air power should be. Set the material flow at the lowest setting that still provides a good pattern. This will help reduce overspray and save material. If the pattern is not satisfactory, adjust the material flow setting until it improves. You can also test by spraying water on cardboard to see if it improves. We're to help troubleshoot. Please let us know if you'd like to chat further.

    Just bought one, and used it to spray thick exterior enamel latex on metal patio furniture. (SW All Surface Enamel Latex) I watered it down slightly and it sprayed pretty well overall. But being a thick enamel, and a summer day, it was drying on the nozzle quickly, typically after about two minutes of inactivity. In attempting to clean the nozzle more thoroughly, I started to unscrew it, but the tank must have been under pressure even when unplugged. The paint squirted out from everywhere, and even managed to get into the turbine housing which was alarming to say the least. Fortunately, it seems to be unaffected. Lesson learned. Always unscrew the tank before unscrewing the nozzle.

    Do you have to wash RIGHT AWAY after using?

    • @Wagner-Spraytech
      @Wagner-Spraytech Před měsícem

      Great question! To keep the sprayer in tip top shape we recommend cleaning the sprayer right after every use. However, there may be times when you need to finish your project the next day. In that case you can leave your material in the sprayer over night in a cool dry area. After leaving it overnight make sure to wipe off any dried material that may have dried on the nozzle. Make sure you mix up the material that was left in the container, as it has settled overnight. Make sure to clean it very well at the end of your project.

  • @theperfectprogression2294

    I thought you’re not supposed to let paint go down the drain?

    • @Wagner-Spraytech
      @Wagner-Spraytech Před měsícem

      Thank you for your comment! We always recommend returning any remaining paint to your paint can first. Then, you should fill the paint cup with the appropriate cleaning solution. For water-based paints, use warm, soapy water; for oil-based materials, use mineral spirits. Instead of cleaning directly over a drain, you can use a bucket or container to catch the cleaning solution and any residue. Let us know if you have any more questions!

      Thank you for your question! Thompson's wood sealers work great with Wagner sprayers, since they offer both oil-based stains and water-based products. It did take some time to setup....but I finally got it. Here's the issue with the tent for me...only front vent front door onlly...no side or back to vent air areas.

      @Wagner-Spraytech Před měsícem

      Thank you for your feedback. The large tent does not have the fan/filter set up like the small tent does so it cannot be set up the same way, but you can add a standard 20” window box fan and a 20” x 20” MERV filter (level 8 or greater) for ventilation. We're here to help!

    Why do I get stripe patters on my finishes

    • @Wagner-Spraytech
      @Wagner-Spraytech Před měsícem

      Hi, thanks for your comment. There are a few things you can do to paint/stain to ensure it sprays well. 1 - Stir the paint/stain with a mixer in a drill until its creamy smooth, about 1 min per gallon 2 - Strain the paint/stain before it goes into the sprayer 3 - Add a flow agent, like Floetrol or Paint Easy (this is not a thinner) for latex paint - Penetrol for oil based 4 - Or you can thin, even as little as 5% can make a big difference, water for water based materials and mineral spirit for oil based material. Up to 20% is fine. The settings also factor in. You should be spraying from 6-10" away. Keep the air power at maximum and reduce the paint flow to eliminate spitting and stripe patterns.

      For the Detail Finish Nozzle, set the air power at maximum and reduce paint flow to eliminate spitting, increase paint flow to increase pattern width. Spray from 6" away and apply a wet coat with each pass. Not three passes to get it wet. Lay the project down, if you can, and spray down onto it. Gravity will help it level. Please let us know if you need more help troubleshooting!

    How to set the Wagner sprayer ,for a foggy or stripe free finish🥴

    • @Wagner-Spraytech
      @Wagner-Spraytech Před měsícem

      Thanks for your question! The Flexio 4000 comes with two nozzles. The iSpray nozzle is for your fence, deck and walls and it will leave a roller like texture when using thick materials. The Detail Finish nozzle is for your trim, furniture and cabinets and it can leave a fine finish when using thin or thinned materials. Also, there are a few things you can do to paint/stain to ensure it sprays well. 1 - Stir the paint/stain with a mixer in a drill until its creamy smooth, about 1 min per gallon 2 - Strain the paint/stain before it goes into the sprayer 3 - Add a flow agent, like Floetrol or Paint Easy (this is not a thinner) for latex paint - Penetrol for oil based 4 - Or you can thin, even as little as 5% can make a big difference, water for water based materials and mineral spirits for oil based material. First time using the 925e and the safety cap won’t unscrew.

    • @Wagner-Spraytech
      @Wagner-Spraytech Před měsícem

      Thank you for your comment! Usually, this can be caused by a buildup of pressure or an improper seal; for safety, the cap won't come off until the inside pressure has dropped.

    Can this be used to remove window tint from regular domestic windows

    • @Wagner-Spraytech
      @Wagner-Spraytech Před měsícem

      Thank you for your question. We do not recommend using this to remove window tint, as this is primarily for wallpaper removal. However, our Wagner heat guns can be used to shrink window tint--they are great for many projects! Always follow the product manual instructions and take necessary safety precautions when working with window tint or any other materials👍

There is a Detail Finish Nozzle sold separately (0529013), which is used on fine finishing projects such as spraying cabinets, furniture, doors, trim etc. It will provide a smoother, finer finish than the iSpray Nozzle. what does "light household oil mean?" Canola oil??

    • @Wagner-Spraytech
      @Wagner-Spraytech Před 2 měsíci

      Thank you for your question! When we refer to "light household oil" for maintenance of the Wagner Control Pro 130 Paint Sprayer, we mean a lightweight, non-detergent oil typically used for lubricating small household appliances or tools. Examples of light household oils include: - Sewing machine oil - 3-in-1 oil - Mineral oil Canola oil or other cooking oils are not recommended as they can become sticky and may not provide the proper lubrication needed for your paint sprayer. I use this the one day and then I went I went to use it the next day heated it up. I wasn’t spraying so I figured well. Maybe it was out of water. Tried to take the cap off and it just kept spinning and spinning can’t get it off. If it’s not coming off because it’s hot then when you’re using it how do you refill the thing you gotta wait for the thing to cool off so you can refill it

    • @Wagner-Spraytech
      @Wagner-Spraytech Před 2 měsíci

      It sounds like you're having trouble removing the cap after heating the unit. Here are some tips that might help: 1. Cool Down Period: It's important to allow the steamer to cool down before attempting to remove the cap. The pressure inside the unit can make the cap difficult to remove when it's hot. 2. Safety Mechanism: The cap is designed with a safety mechanism to prevent it from being removed while the unit is pressurized. This is to ensure safe operation and avoid any risk of burns or injury. 3. Proper Refilling Procedure: Always make sure the steamer is unplugged and has cooled down completely before refilling it. This ensures that there is no pressure buildup inside the tank. If you've tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, there might be a problem with the cap itself. In this case, please contact our customer support team at 1-800-328-8251 or email support@wagner-group.com for further assistance. We're here to help ensure you have a smooth and safe experience with your Wagner 915e Steamer.

      Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your negative experience with declouding headlights. The Wagner FURNO Heat Gun can effectively decloud headlights. However, it's important to: 1. Maintain a Safe Distance: Keep the heat gun at a safe distance from the headlight lens to avoid overheating and potential cracking. 2. Keep the Gun Moving: Constantly move the heat gun in a sweeping motion to distribute heat evenly. 3. Use Proper Settings: Use the recommended heat settings as outlined in our user manual. If you’re unsure or uncomfortable using the heat gun for this purpose, it may be best to seek professional assistance. We appreciate your concern and will review the content to ensure it provides clear and safe instructions. • @Wagner-Spraytech
      @Wagner-Spraytech Před 2 měsíci

      Yes, you can use oil-based stains with a paint sprayer, but make sure your sprayer is compatible with oil-based products. Always check the manufacturer's instructions for your specific model to ensure proper use and cleaning methods. It’s also a good idea to use a filter when filling the sprayer to avoid clogging with any debris from the stain. Happy staining!

      @Wagner-Spraytech Před 2 měsíci

      You make a great point! The technique shown in the video is ideal for smaller projects where precision is key, like doors or trim. For larger areas like walls, you might consider using a different nozzle or adjusting the settings on your Wagner FLEXiO 4300 for a wider spray pattern and faster coverage. Each project may require a bit of tweaking to get the best results. Thanks for your insight!
