I feel like the whole “only exclusive on Apple Arcade” thing is literally the ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM that EVERYONE in the Puyo Puyo Community has to deal with. Many people that it’s a missed opportunity and I agree with that. They could’ve have more time to put it on the Switch, PS5, Steam, Android, etc. Yes it can still be available on SOME or even ALL Apple devices like iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Apple TV whatever. But the problem people don’t even have the money to afford buying an Apple Arcade subscription JUST to play Puzzle Pop! Some of them are on Android! But even though the pluses are that, we have the OG voice actors coming back, bringing out the previous characters and rules, the artstyle looking cute and amazing, etc. It still (kinda) disappointing seeing that its only exclusive on Apple Arcade and NOT anywhere else sadly. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk lmfao

At this point I won't be surprised if the entirety of Apple is an unresting hydra with SEGA intended to fill the role of head no. (Insert total populace of Apple employees here + insert total populace of SEGA's employees here)

Sega are shooting themselves in the foot not relasing Puyo Puzzle Pop on Android or PC. Maybe they'll realise their mistake and release them on there soon. It sucks because the game looks really promising

I honestly don't think Puyo is as good a match for mobile devices as you think. The game requires a lot of precision, and mobile devices love to drop inputs. The game even recommends you use controllers. I really wish it was on Switch.

I do like the game so far and I do want to see more info on it. I'm only sad I won't be able to play it. I do expect Sega to do something about it. or more Puyo games on the console. I'm still happy to hear about this! all I can say hopefully we'll get some good news on it.

This may seem nitpicky, but I'd really like it if they at least made a new remix of the Danger theme. It's been almost 20 years and it's been the same. exact. version from PPF1.

I would love to play this game, but I'm not spending the money on Apple Arcade. It's a shame. It looks really fun and cute, the voice acting, even in English, is good if a little hammy, and overall it seems nice. If only Sega would localize Quest, like we've been fucking ASKING...

this game looks so great but how the hellll do they manage to make puyo puyo the most inaccessible series known to man ToT we finally get another puyo game (sans tetris) in the west... but it's only on apple's subscription service... the monkey's paw curls

I’d gladly pay a flat price to play this game but I will have to skip it entirely cause I refuse to pay membership for Apple Arcade. For people already using Apple Arcade I’m sure this is great.

Even tho im in pure anger, the game just seems like an asset recycling competition, it looks like nothing new so im not sad by not playing it
