I went through 12 service reps and none of them could figure this out. I accidentally turned on voice view mode and I couldn't turn it off for 2 days. I finally figured it out myself and justifiably felt like a total dumbass. Don't end up like me! There's still hope for you kids out there!
TL;DR
Just hold the menu and back button on your Amazon Stick remote to turn voice view mode on/off.
