At 28:54, what's the "SS" for?

I'm a bit confused regarding the salt cell portion of this video. Is the guy saying I need to have my pressure side cleaner run for the ENTIRE time I want high speed pump? If so, that's crazy, given the power consumption needed for the cleaner pump is quite high. I've struggled to find a way to implement high and low speeds for the pump and decided to wire the salt cell to a different relay and just schedule when it should come on or not. That said it will only produce salt when the high speed is running. Wish I could get the salt cell to produce salt in the low speed feature setting.

This was useful. 2 questions - 1. I have all "- -" for the intellichem and the pH/ORP levels. Why is that? 2. I don't see the Pumps (I have 1 for the pool and 1 for cleaner) in the Screenlogic connect screen. Why?

I tried to call the programmer that coded this system to chew him out for making it, pretty much, as unuser friendly as humanly possible. Unfortunately, when I called him, I couldn’t successfully navigate his phone menu.

where are you guys located?

Way too complicated expecially when you use with other componentsinvolved. So many things that can go wrong. This whole industry is getting way to automated. It's fun in the beginning but 6 months down the road things start to break. And when you have an Intellicenter a salt system this unit. you will scratch your head.

Great video. Answered a lot of my questions, but I still have a problem. My spillway schedule is set to run from 7am to 8pm each day, but it continues to cycle on and off about every 10-12 minutes. Which would almost sound like its in an egg timer sort of mode but it is not. It's really driving me crazy. We never had this problem before and haven't messed with the schedule at all. Any thoughts? Simple question….we have a spa with a Pentair control board, the timer runs the pool from 9am to 7pm. What do we do or press if we want to go into the spa after the pool shuts off at 7pm. I’ve pressed the pump and spa on, on the control board, but the pump doesn’t come on. The valves move to adjust to the spa but nothing happens. Thank you in advance

Question, I’m dog sitting and they taught me how to use the pool a while back when I was here the last time. I turned on the spa to get it warmed up for later. When I did that it turned off the water fall/feature thingy that flows into the pool. It had been on since I’ve been here. Did I turn it off when I turned on the spa? Is there a way to turn it back on? Or should I just not bother it. I’m using the Pentair easy touch wireless with the 8 buttons. Thanks!

I’m trying to setup a Pentair Easytouch Control System with 8 spots with a Intelliflo VS pump. I’m trying to make a schedule with 4 time slots that continues to run 24/7 and I want each time slot to have a different pump speed. Example #1 5am to 9am at 3,000 rpm’s, #2 9am to 4pm 1,550 rpm’s, #3 4pm to 11pm 2,550 rpm’s, #4 11pm till 5am 1,000 rpm’s. Can you tell me how to accomplish this. I had it programmed on my pump but now the pool company installed the easytouch control system and they saying it can’t be done. I don’t believe that.

Hello, I have a question. On my outdoor panel, there is a red light blinking. It says see indoor control panel if flashing. I don't see anything on my indoor control panel. Can you help me figure out why it's blinking and how to stop it? Everything seems to be functioning properly. Thank you very much.

I am sure I have a single speed pump on my pool. Why would there be a cleaner function on my easytouch panel if the pump always runs at one speed. Would I need to set up a schedule for the cleaner function or is the cleaner function always running anyway. Any help you can give is appreciated.

I've had a pool set up for about 3 weeks and everything was fine until about 5 days ago. My pump and the EasyTouch seem to not be on speaking terms at the moment. Nothing from the EasyTouch panel or the ScreenLogic app will run the pump right now. I can only turn on the light. I have to manually run the pump from the Intelliflo VSF controls and it runs just fine like that... but I don't even have to put the EasyTouch in 'SERVICE' mode to do it. Even with the EasyTouch in 'AUTO' mode, my Intelliflo does NOT say 'DISPLAY NOT ACTIVE' like it should. Will hitting the RESET button on the EasyTouch panel fix this? Do I need to do it to the Intelliflo as well?
