People really only want to know how much money you’re making. They don’t care that you love the program and all the women are nice.

Many times you don't want to start until everything is perfect! But my Manager said "Don't let perfection get in the way of good!" I also make Nike's "Just Do It" my motto.

The elementary class is stacked with little shits with overinflated fantasies of who they are and what they can do because mommy and daddy think they've got little geniuses on their hands. They'll show up with a macaroni painting and be heralded as the next picasso. Meanwhile, adults with real life experience know how to accurately assess their skills vs reality.

The world is mean and cold.

We grew up and realized that in fact we were not all the things we dreamed we would be. Its called reality for a reason.

I think about Hyundai... They started as an engineering and construction firm. Years later they went into cars and ships. How about Samsung? They started as a food trading company. I lived in P.R for 20yrs. I joined the military 27yrs ago, and retired in Texas. I will go to P.R. only to visit. P.R. is a wonderful place, but if you want good quality of life, P.R. is not the place to live, at least for me. Last time I went to visit, I had to take my dad to the ER. We got there around 10pm, and the people ahead of us had been waiting to be seen since 8am. On another occasion, my dad had an appointment at 9am. We got there 20mins early, only to be seen at noon. It's always been like that. Its like everything there moves backwards. Instead of improving, it gets worse. Constant power outages, water service gets interrupted all the time, etc. It's 2023, and to live comfortably, you need to rely on a generator and water cistern. I lived in Asia, Central, and South America, and in a dozen of states in US, and never had an issue with power outages or water services being interrupted. Dealing with government agencies is a headache as well. Don't get me started on storms and hurricanes. Dealing with the aftermath of a major storm or hurricane in P.R, is going to change your perspective on many things. That's when you'll live through the chaos of trying to get fuel at a gas station, or food and supplies at your local store. Puertoricans are horrible at doing things in an organized manner. They become rude and inconsiderate. Believe me. In the 20yrs I lived in P.R., I lived through 14 storms/hurricanes. I know what I'm talking about. Some may say I'm being negative, but I'm talking based on my experience. Yes, P.R. is gorgeous, people are nice, food is great, but for me, I need good quality of life. P.R. does not offer that. To visit is great, to live, not for me.
