My reason for making these videos. Well I was sort of pushed into it by a friend. They encouraged me repeatedly to record what I was making until I gave in and did.
I make the things I like and don't mean them to be in any way tutorial. I will do my best to explain what I am doing and what products I am using.

Replacing a shattered inlay with UV resin for @DoubleZeroGarage
My friend dropped his pen knife and the picture inlay shattered. He gave me the knife and asked me to see if I could put anything where the original picture had been.

This is a cute earing mold but I thought I would use it to make some tree ornaments. I coloured the mold using UV resin mixed with mica powder. I use tape on one side of the sticker then you can pull the other side off easily. Come up apart like a dream.
Really nice. I have a box of nail foil rolls but haven’t been able to use them successfully. I’m going to try this method.

To remove sticker use cricut mat

I believe it was layered different coloured mylar flakes in clear resin. I then coated with opaque white so it muted the colours of the flakes ❤️

I can not remember where I got these stickers from unfortunately
I use nail glue to adhere the foils then dome. I found using resin will eventually become brittle.

Thanks so much for the video, I had their older mixer without the stand and used it every time but as i couldn't stand it up resin got in the attachment point (obviously hadn't cleaned it as well as I thought I had) and it wouldn't spin any more.

I use this brand. Please use gloves and a mask rated for chemical fumes! I started developing odd reactions after a month of useage. It's easy to forget, but ALL uncured resin is toxic
What is PVS glue
Sorry PVA is school glue or Elmers glue
Can you use regular Elmer's glue to paint on
Yes, PVA is just a cheaper version of Elmers
